The package is formed of a generally planar strip of foldable material having a first and second fold lines forming a front panel, a rear panel, and an intermediate panel. The panels are disposed with respect to each other and foldable along respective fold lines to form an interior space into which the wallet/billfold can be inserted. The rear panel includes a pair of openings through which the band of the wrist-watch can be extended to surround the package with the wallet/billfold therein. At least one of the front and rear panels includes advertising indicia and the front panel includes an opening to suspend the display package.

The garment belt has scanner-readable indicia associated with it (e.g., a bar code is disposed on a hang tag secured to the belt's buckle). The carrier assembly is arranged to be used with other such assemblies, each holding an article (e.g., a garment belt), by an automatic dispensing machine to select the carrier assembly from other similar carrier assemblies and to dispense the selected carrier assembly therefrom based on the scanner readable indicia. The automatic dispensing machine includes a scanner for scanning the scanner-readable indicia. The bag is adapted to hold the garment belt in a compact, e.g., coiled, configuration therein. The bag with the coiled belt therein is located within the interior of the hollow carrier container and is held in place therein (e.g., the carrier container includes a slit for engaging a portion of the bag). The carrier container includes at least one window through which the scanner-readable indicia is visible to be readily scanned by the scanner of the automatic dispensing machine to enable the machine to selectively dispense the carrier assembly therefrom based on the scanner-readable indicia read.

摘要： A measuring tag for releasable securement to a garment belt to facilitate the cutting of the belt to a desired size. The belt has a buckle including a throat for releasably clamping a first end of the belt to it. The tag is an elongated planar member whose periphery includes a top edge, a bottom edge, and a pair of longitudinally extending side edge. The top edge has an ear folded back over itself to form a socket having a stop surface against which a first end portion of the belt abuts. The ear and the first end of the belt are releasably received in the throat of the buckle. The measuring tag also includes a surface, e.g., the rear, on which measuring indicia are provided. That indicia is a longitudinally extending size chart including a pair of side-by-side rulers showing belt sizes in inches and pant sizes in inches. The tag is formed of a material which is severable at various locations along the indicia to sever it and the portion of the belt at that location, whereupon the remaining length of the belt is of a desired size as indicated by the indicium at the location at which the tag is severed. The tag also includes second surface, e.g., the front, which includes product identification indicia, e.g., promotional text, graphics, etc.

摘要： A packaging system and method of packaging for a foldable wallet or billfold to enable the wallet or billfold to be opened and examined while deterring the wallet or billfold from being removed from the packaging system. The wallet or billfold has a fold line about which the wallet or billfold is arranged to be folded shut, and an opening in a portion of the wallet or billfold contiguous with the fold line. The packaging system comprising a box and a strip, e.g., band, member. The strip member is an elongated flexible member formed of a tear resistant material, e.g., a flat strip of plastic. The box has a base portion with peripheral side walls forming a hollow interior into which the wallet or billfold is disposed. The strip member is arranged to be extended through the opening in the wallet and overlying the fold line while being permanently secured to at least one of said sidewalls of the base portion. Thus, the wallet is not susceptible to removal without destroying the package. A lid is provided to cover the box. A flanged insert member may also be provided in the interior of the box to serve as a means for carrying visible indicia, e.g., the model designation of the wallet or billfold, a trademark, pricing information, etc.

The tray is arranged to be slid out of the housing through the gap. A pair of magnets are provided for releasably holding the tray within the housing. The housing can be reversibly disposed with respect to the tray to form a lid with the base wall of the housing closing the open top of the tray.
