Essential functional parts of the oil separation device are provided on the bottom shell and on the top shell. Preferably the functional elements include a cyclone which separates entrained oil from gases in the cylinder head cover and includes a cup arranged on the bottom shell and an immersion tube arranged on the top shell.

The stub connection also includes at least two seals.
