    • Attributes of vegetables or biologics are derived by use of color imaging sensors and relative spectral band analysis. Enabled smart phones or dedicated single pixel or focal plane instruments for crop applications to quickly report the biological condition of vegetables or other organics by providing an augmented view or relative quantification of RGB ratios of the inspected items. The RGB ratios are compared to RGB ratios of preprinted labels. The comparison yields information regarding the freshness and other attributes of the inspected item. Disclosed embodiments are well suited for analyzing the health and needs of living plants or crops. Ratios of observed wide band red, green and blue are compared on a relative basis. While food shopping, an enabled smart phone may view an agricultural product and use a preprinted RGB ratio label as a reference guide.

    • System and methods for farming of crops on a plant-by-plant basis are disclosed. Plants are imaged and data is acquired on a plant-by-plant basis, which enables the visual micro management of a crop field on a plant-by-plant basis. Past and current images of a plant may be displayed in a manner that allows plants to be diagnosed and maintained. In some embodiments, images of an individual plant and instructions for maintenance are automatically displayed to a field work in real-time as the worker is in the proximity of the plant. Techniques described herein can be used in the field or during the harvest process including sorting tables or sorting conveyor belts. This can be done via signage, bar codes or RFID tags or other unique plant identifier technique. This approach compresses the acquired data and automatically selects and displays relevant information to a specific fruit or plant.

    • A method of detecting a changed condition within a geographical space from a moving vehicle. Images of that geographic space are memorialized in conjunction with GPS coordinates together with its GPS coordinates. The same geographic space is traversed from the moving vehicle while accessing the route's GPS coordinates. The memorialized images are played back by coordinating the GPS data on a memorialized images with that of the traversed geographic space such that the memorialized images are viewed simultaneously with the geographic space being traversed. An observer traveling within the moving vehicle can compare the memorialized images with those being traversed in order to identify changed conditions.

    • Methods and systems for performing navigation and terrain change detection based on real-time projection of a structured light pattern are provided. In a method for detecting a change in a field of view from a first point in time to a second point in time, a current three-dimensional dataset of the field of view is generated from a point of reference based on data received in real-time. The location of the point of reference is determined based on geo-spatial data. A stored three-dimensional dataset of the field of view generated from data received at the point of reference at the first point in time is accessed; and used to provide one or more alerts which signify changes in the field of view between the current three-dimensional dataset and the stored three-dimensional dataset.
