摘要： The present provides a touring or cross-country binding and a method of assembling the same, the touring or cross-country binding comprising: an engagement section (2.1) for pivotal engagement of a ski shoe engagement pin (21), the engagement section including a stationary engagement part (4) and a movable engagement part (5); the stationary engagement part (4) comprising a base (4.1) and a pair of protruding elements (4.2), wherein the distal part of the protruding elements (4.2) are provided with an recess (4.3) adapted to receive the ski shoe engagement pin; and the movable engagement part (5) is a slider in sliding engagement with the stationary engagement part (4); an activation element (6) adapted to move the movable engagement part (5) between a locking position and a releasing position of the engagement pin; and a downwards pointing button (6.2) arranged on the activation element (6) to directly engage an opening (5.3) in the movable engagement part, whereby the movable engagement part (5) is sliding forward to the releasing position by a downwards force on the activation element (6) at a position behind the fulcrum pins (6.1) of the activation element.

摘要： The present invention relates to a spring cartridge for a ski binding, wherein the ski binding has a rotatable front binding part for attachment of a ski boot, and is in particular a telemark ski binding. In the binding the spring cartridge provides tension to a biasing cable which biases the rotatable front binding part, so as to rotate the front binding part so that an attached ski boot would be brought into contact with the ski to which the ski binding is attached.The spring cartridge comprises an extended hollow housing open at both ends, a compression spring held within the extended hollow housing and a pressure stub held partly within the compression spring.The pressure stub is structured with an extended portion having a cross dimension smaller than the interior size of the compression spring and a head having a larger size than the interior size of the compression spring. The extended portion extends within the internal hollow of the compression spring and is also hollow and provided with an internal screw thread in the hollow section for threadable engagement with an external screw thread at the end of a biasing cable of a ski binding, the biasing cable being threadable through the center of the compression spring to the pressure stub.With rotation of the pressure stub this would thus lead to a change in the amount of the biasing cable held within the hollow section, when present, and thus change the amount of compressive force acting on the compression spring.

Furthermore, a third locking device (13) is arranged on the underside (12) of the adapter (6) for locking the adapter (6) to the section (4) via a corresponding fourth locking device (14). The first locking device (9) on the binding (3) corresponds in addition to the fourth locking device (14) on the section (4) in order to permit direct connection of the binding (3) to the ski (2) without the use of the adapter (6).
