The carbon dioxide clathrate hydrates cages with entrapped H2 are encased, transported and then delivered after HRI discharge Later, when the HRI tube-ice is formed and released from tube-ice machine, it warms whereupon the carbon dioxide clathrate hydrates dissociate and the H2 is released and used, for example by placement of the tube-ice small cylinders in a glass of water.
