摘要： A system and method for determining a secret cryptographic key shared between a sending unit and a receiving unit by using a communication channel comprising spatially separated amplifiers for secure long-distance communication includes transmitting a sequence of electromagnetic pulses via the communication channel through the amplifiers for establishing a shared secret cryptographic key, wherein each electromagnetic pulse corresponds to a bit of a random bit sequence according to a ciphering protocol, and at least one ciphering parameter is determined by maximizing the expected key generation rate using an information theory model, wherein a measured signal loss and at least one amplification parameter are taken into account as input parameters to the information theory model.

摘要： An on-load tap-changer of a tap-changing transformer has a switch. The switch has: a take-off contact; a primary fixed contact; and a contact unit. The contact unit has a moving contact, a first arcing contact and a second arcing contact. These contacts are pivotable about a pivot axis during a switchover process such that the contacts assume a first position, in which they make contact with the take-off contact and the primary fixed contact, and a second position, in which they are separated from the take-off contact and the primary fixed contact. 摘要： Neural networks, in many cases, include convolution layers that are configured to perform many convolution operations that require multiplication and addition operations. Compared with performing multiplication on integer, fixed-point, or floating-point format values, performing multiplication on logarithmic format values is straightforward and energy efficient as the exponents are simply added. However, performing addition on logarithmic format values is more complex. Conventionally, addition is performed by converting the logarithmic format values to integers, computing the sum, and then converting the sum back into the logarithmic format. Instead, logarithmic format values may be added by decomposing the exponents into separate quotient and remainder components, sorting the quotient components based on the remainder components, summing the sorted quotient components using an asynchronous accumulator to produce partial sums, and multiplying the partial sums by the remainder components to produce a sum. The sum may then be converted back into the logarithmic format.
