摘要： Aspects relate to limits management for a processor power distribution network. In an aspect, an electronic device has a processor with a processing core that is coupled to a power rail. The power rail is external to the processor. A current sensor is associated with the output of the power rail and configured to produce current sensor readings. A state-space unit is coupled to the current sensor. The state-space unit has a predictive model to apply the current sensor readings to the predictive model to predict a current budget for the processing core. A limit manager is configured to generate a current limit in response to the current budget. The limit manager limits a current draw of the processing core in response to the current limit.

The IOM includes a switching component configured to provide top-of-rack (TOR) switching for data to be routed from input connectors to data storage devices within the rack enclosure. The IOM also includes a protocol interface configured to convert a protocol of the data from an input data protocol (e.g., Ethernet, Fibre Channel or InfiniBand™) to a protocol for use with the storage devices (e.g., nonvolatile memory express (NVMe) and Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe)). Among other features, the IOM allows switching to be dis-aggregated from a TOR switch and distributed throughout the data network of the rack.

摘要： A method and system is provided for pressure balancing one or more seals in machines such as expanders and/or compressors using the process fluid which is being expanded or compressed to provide the pressure for pressure balancing the other side of the one or more seals. The one or more seals may be part of a pressure containing chamber which may comprise a seal, a bearing and/or a gear on a rotating shaft common to the seal. An amount of pressure to be supplied to housing(s) for a machine so as to create a pressure cascade, and thereby dropping the pressure in each subsequent chamber as pressure approaches atmosphere. Pressure differentials may be directed to leak process fluid to the chamber into the process. Pressurized lube oil systems may be employed for balancing pressure and delivering lubricant to the seals, bearings and gears.

摘要： A battery charging system determines a current condition of a battery in real time and dynamically determine a threshold voltage for controlling a charging mode of the battery based on the current battery condition. The battery charging system charges the battery using a constant current (CC) mode or constant voltage (CV) mode based on the battery voltage and the dynamically determined threshold voltage. The battery charging system can determine the voltage and current of the battery in real time without receiving information on the battery from the power receiving side of the battery charging system.
