摘要： A trading card includes a front wall, a back wall, a bottom wall, and a top wall. The front wall retains a viewing lens. The back wall retains an image. The bottom wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. The top wall extends between the front wall and the back wall. Three of the walls are moveable relative to the other wall to move the trading card from a folded configuration to an unfolded configuration. In the folded configuration, the walls are substantially parallel to each other. Further, in the unfolded configuration, the front wall and the back wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart, and the bottom wall and the top wall are substantially parallel and spaced apart. Additionally, the image is viewable through the viewing lens when the trading card is in the unfolded configuration. Moreover, the image can be on a piece of film and the viewing lens can be a magnifying lens. With this design, the trading card can be sized and shaped like a regular trading card when the trading card is in the folded configuration and the trading card can be simply expanded from the folded configuration to the unfolded configuration in which the trading card functions as a magnifying viewing box.

A method of the present invention involves capturing an image of the signature as it is being placed on the item. The image so captured is then stored on a computer readable medium. In addition to the item itself, the owner of the item may be provided with a computer readable medium containing computer readable instructions for accessing the image and other information about the item, the signing process, the autographer, etc. The image may be captured by a camera mounted on a pen or other writing instrument.

摘要： A slitting assembly for producing a plurality of "interrupted cut" slits in a large sheet of sport card photos includes a horizontal support track carrying a plurality of individual upper slitting assemblies each including a freely rotatable upper hub, an upper blade concentrically attached to the upper hub, a resilient band circumferentially disposed on the upper hub to frictionally engage the top surface of the sheet being slit, and an upper blade biasing element to resiliently urge an edge of the upper blade against an edge of the corresponding lower blade. The upper blades are precisely parallel to the lower blades to avoid interference with notches provided in the lower blades to interrupt the slits being made. The locations of the notches are selected to compensate for slippage resulting from the frictional engagement.
