摘要： An ultrasonic sensor, including methods of using and installing same, the sensor having a pair of ultrasound transducers adapted to be inserted in, and being able to perform at, a single site of introduction into a duct. The ultrasonic sensor measures a forward ultrasonic path transit time and a second reverse ultrasonic path transit time of ultrasound signals propagating in a fluid, the arrangement being such that a comparison of the signal associated with ultrasound travel in one direction with the signal associated with ultrasound travel in the opposite direction enables the flow rate of the fluid in the duct to be determined. The ultrasonic sensor may utilize a curved reflecting surface on the duct and a reflective surface of an ultrasonic sensor end cap to provide forward and reverse ultrasonic W-shaped paths.

摘要： A differential pressure indicator has a housing with at least two ports in the housing. One port receives a first pressure, and the second port receives a second pressure. A pressure resistive device is placed between the first port and the second port. The pressure resistive device changes its position when the first pressure exceeds the second pressure by a predetermined amount. A magnet is coupled to the pressure resistive device. A digital displacement sensor senses the position of the magnet. The digital displacement sensor is in communication with an electronic indicator. The electronic indicator activates when the first pressure exceeds the second pressure by a predetermined amount.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a filter module that may incorporate sensors to measure various characteristics of fluid flow and filtration. The sensors may be MEMS and may measure the temperature, flow rate, pressure, etc. of the fluid. One or more MEMS sensors may be included in a sensor package which, in turn, may be included in a sensor component. The latter, which may also include a processor, conductor pins, etc. for data communication, may be coupled to a sensor port in such a way as to allow contact between the sensor(s) and the fluid. Sensor measurements may be used to determine the occurrence of harmful events, such as cavitation or particle breakthrough, or to predict the remaining service life of a filter element.

摘要： A method of determining fouling of a filter includes the use of a differential pressure indicator which has a housing with at least two ports in the housing. One port receives a first pressure, and the second port receives a second pressure. A pressure resistive device is placed between the first port and the second port, and changes its position when the first pressure exceeds the second pressure by a predetermined amount. A magnet is coupled to the pressure resistive device. A digital displacement sensor senses the position of the magnet and is in communication with an electronic indicator. The electronic indicator activates when the first pressure exceeds the second pressure by a predetermined amount, thus allowing determination of filter fouling.

摘要： A replaceable cartridge type dual stage bypass valve is used in dual filter multi-media filtration assemblies. The cartridge may be selected and easily replaced to meet the various combinations and requirements of the dual filter elements (primary and secondary). The individual bypass valves that form the dual stage bypass valve may each be responsive to a predetermined increase of pressure due to a clogged filter condition. The individual bypass valves may use replaceable coil springs. The spring force of the coil spring is determined by the pressure differential to be resisted, i.e., the resistance to be offered by the spring action of the spring, and the flow capacity at a given pressure differential.

The air filtration system includes a hydrophobic particulate/coalescing filter and a cleanable ozone converter housed in a housing with an inlet and an outlet.
