The liquid crystal panel is an antiferroelectric liquid crystal panel. The backlight sources are sequentially turned on at high speed below the antiferroelectric liquid crystal panel, and liquid crystal screens having different display contents for every color are displayed in synchronization with the turning on of the backlight sources to achieve multicolor display.
