摘要： A support platform for enabling a worker to service an oil well next to a wellhead having a valve tree includes a platform having an upper floor, a lower floor and a cavity in between the floors. A platform provides a periphery, a central opening and radially extending beams. A plurality of walls attached to the periphery of the platform, said beams connecting to said walls below said upper floor. A drain that enables fluid to drain from the upper floor to the lower floor and into the cavity. A coupler that spans between the floors for enabling a connection to be made between the platform and valve tree. A liquid guard or other provision that disallows the escape of fluid from a floor via the central opening. One or more sleeves are provided in the cavity, each connecting to the upper floor, each sleeve having a bore that extends to and through the upper floor. Fluid that drains to the cavity is not able to escape the cavity via the sleeve or sleeve bore.

A carriage is supported by the jacking mechanism for movement between an upper extended and a lower retracted position. The carriage has a concave surface that generally cradles a pipeline pig to be transported. A pulling device on the housing enables a pipeline pig to be pulled from a location that is not on the carriage to a position that is on the carriage. The position that is not on the carriage can be for example a pig trap. As part of the method of the present invention, the pulling device pulls the pig from the pig trap or other location to the carriage and then the carriage is retracted into the housing for transport to a remote location.

摘要： A pipeline pig support rack apparatus includes a frame having a plurality of supports mounted thereon, each extending upwardly from the frame. Each pipeline pig support includes clamps that are comprised of first and second u-shaped members that are attached with a hinge. A bolted connection opposite the hinge is provided for holding the u-shaped members together in a closed position when securing a pipeline pig. Lifting eyes on the frame are provided for enabling the frame, its pig supports and any contained pipeline pigs to be lifted as a unit. A basket receptacle optionally is provided that receives the frame. The frame and basket receptacle are each independently liftable. The basket receptacle prevents spillage of hazardous materials that might be residing upon the pigs after they have been used to clean a particular pipeline.

摘要： A method of cleaning pipeline pigs of a material that is to be recycled includes providing a vessel having an interior. A manifold is placed within the vessel interior, the manifold having a plurality of openings. The vessel is filled with a solvent that is capable of dissolving the material to be recycled. The pipeline pig is placed in the vessel and above the manifold. A volume of gas is bubbled into the vessel via the manifold openings. These steps are repeated with multiple pigs in sequence so that the material to be recycled is concentrated over time within the vessel. Thereafter, the material that has accumulated within the vessel is recycled. The solvent is preferably a terpene blend with an ethoxylated alcohol. The material to be recycled is preferably paraffin and/or asphaltene.

A winch rail extends along the upper surface of one of the perimeter beams. At least one of the wall panels with a cutout opening is one of the removable wall panels.
