    • The present invention pertains to a power monitoring device configured in such a manner as to make it as easy as possible to perform power monitoring, notification and control for customers in coordination with the power utilization rate of a utility grid. The power monitoring device is provided with: a target power setting unit that receives, from outside, information indicating the power utilization rate of a utility grid by time, and, with regard to time periods in which the power utilization rate is greater than a prescribed threshold value, reduces preset target power consumption levels, and sets target power consumption levels by time; and an assessment and control unit that obtains, from outside, the power usage of power-consuming devices, and performs control in order to save power for the power-consuming devices in time periods in which the obtained power usage exceeds the target power consumption level.

    • When an axial gap rotating electrical machine is assembled, stator cores are accurately positioned and a manufacturing process therefor is simplified. The axial gap rotating electrical machine comprises: a housing frame body having a first space in the cylindrical central part thereof and multiple second spaces located in the circumferential direction which have the same distances from the center; a shaft rotatably provided in the first space in the housing frame body; a core placed in each of the second spaces in the housing frame body and a coil arranged around the core; a rotor yoke fixed on the shaft, extended in the direction of the circumference thereof, and having multiple magnets arranged in circumferential positions confronting the cores; and a case having a hole for the shaft and housing the housing frame body and the rotor yoke.

    • In a conventional compressor, since a motor and a mechanical section of the compressor are disposed in one and the same closed container, the motor is exposed to high-temperature coolant and heated, and the efficiency of the motor is lowered. Further, during the operation of the compressor, the coolant circulating in the refrigerating cycle conveys additional heat generated by the motor coil. Thus the efficiency of the refrigerating cycle is lowered. The compressor according to the present invention includes a compression chamber divided into a closed chamber and an open chamber separated by a magnetic induction plate from each other. The closed chamber is filled with high temperature and pressure coolant and the rotor of the motor is disposed in the closed chamber, and the stator of the motor is disposed in the open chamber.
