    • To modify an existing printing press from its original length/cut off to a different cut off, a sub-frame may be mounted on an existing frame of a printing press. The sub-frame permits the relocation of bearing supports for various printing cylinders, such as, for example, the plate cylinders and blanket cylinders. In addition to mounting the sub-frame on the existing frame, new plate and blanket cylinders having different sizes than the plate and blanket cylinders used in the existing printing press may be mounted in the sub-frame to provide different printing lengths/cut offs. Suitable sleeves, such as the eccentric mounting sleeves may be provided as necessary in order to mount the cylinders to the sub-frame.

    • A sleeve-shaped printing element for mounting on a carrying cylinder in a printing unit of a web-processing rotary printing machine. The element includes a structure formed of material permitting radial expansion of the sleeve-shaped printing element, the carrying cylinder has an elongated axial extent and being formed with ducts for discharging an expansion medium. The ducts open on a circumferential surface of the carrying cylinder, and the expansion medium is pressurizable by a pressure source. The sleeve-shaped printing element is formed with an inner diameter increasing from one end to the other end of the printing element, and is formed with an at least approximately constant wall thickness; and a combination of the printing element and the carrying cylinder.

    • A de-duster for a moving printing material web includes at least one blower nozzle assigned to a first side of the printing material web, and at least one blower nozzle assigned to a second side of the printing material web. The blower nozzles are set counter to web travel direction at an angle α. The de-duster further includes at least one extraction nozzle assigned to the first side of the printing material web, and at least one extraction nozzle assigned to the second side of the printing material web. The extraction nozzles are set counter to the web travel direction at an acute angle β. Each of the at least one blower nozzle is disposed between the at least one extraction nozzle at a respective side of the printing material web and the respective side of the printing material web. A combination of the de-duster and a cutting device, a folder with the combination, and a web-processing printing press in combination with the folder, are also provided.
