摘要： The infant product of the invention is of the type having an infant receptacle suspended from a frame. The infant product is foldable between a deployed position for use and a compact configuration for shipping and storage. In the assembled configuration, the infant receptacle is convertible between a bassinet configuration in which the infant receptacle has a substantially planar support surface and an infant seat configuration in which the support surface of the infant receptacle is partially titled or disposed at an angle such that the infant can be supported in an elevated or seated position. The infant product may include a fabric canopy incorporating floating webs and a quick connect system for securing the canopy in an open position. When the canopy is closed, it is folded so as to lie flat against the infant receptacle. The infant receptacle may also include a lateral support assembly to cradle the infant.

摘要： A child restraint seat is shown having a system for tightening the safety harness belt that includes an adjuster plate with the adjuster plate being slidably mounted on a guide track on the back side of the restraint seat. The adjuster plate includes a belt tensioning portion that contacts the safety harness belt at various positions between two opposite fixed ends of the safety harness belt. Movement of the adjuster plate along the guide track on the back side of the restraint seat causes the belt tensioning portion of the adjuster plate to change the slack length of the safety belt by an amount approximately equal to two times the distance which the adjuster plate is moved along the guide track. A pawl is part of the adjuster plate assembly and is biased into contact with teeth on the guide track to hold the adjuster plate in a predetermined position along the guide track.

摘要： A dual purpose optical device that is convertible between binocular and stereoscope modes of operation while using a common eyepiece arrangement for both. The device includes a housing containing a pair of optic supports mounted side-by-side for lateral movement towards and away from one another. Each support preferably carries three lenses. Two lenses on each support serve as the eyepiece and are aligned in a common plane with an eyepiece opening through the housing and a rotatable mirror assembly. The assembly pivots substantially ninety degrees from opposing forty-five degree angle positions with respect to the plane through the eyepiece opening and the eye and field lenses so as to fold the lines of sight either up or down within the housing. A circular photo transparency reel is received horizontally in a slot provided on an upper side of the housing. Each optic support is provided with three fixed mirrors which fold the lines of sight directed downward by the rotating mirror through an objective lens located at an opposite end of the housing. The three lenses on each optic support collectively form a binocular lens train while two of the lenses of each set form a magnifying lens train. A spring biases the optic supports together and against tapered, longitudinally extending sides of a cam mounted for longitudinal movement in the housing. A wheel projects partially through the bottom of the housing and supports pinions that are engaged with racks on the cam to provide manual interpupillary spacing adjustment of the optic supports. In the stereosope mode of operation, the interpupillary distance between the eyepieces is automatically set in response to converting between the two modes so that it matches the distance separating corresponding stereo pairs.
