摘要： A device having a centrifuge operating discontinuously in batch-type manner for separating syrup from sugar massecuites including a centrifuge housing having a wall and a base, as well as a cylindrical centrifuge drum in a centrifuge housing having discharge openings. A first receiving container serves for the reception of a green discharge. A second receiving serves for the reception of a white discharge. A control device and valve or shut-off assemblies controllable by the control device are provided at or in the discharge opening or in connecting lines for the purposes of separating the green discharge and the white discharge. At least one sensor is provided in the transport path of the syrup. The sensor includes a measuring device for the measurement of a physical value which is representative of the difference between green discharge and white discharge. The control device controls the valve or shut-off assemblies in dependence on the measured values of the physical value transmitted by the sensor.

摘要： A discontinuous centrifuge has a rotatable centrifuge drum with a casing. The cylindrical centrifuge casing is provided with holes to discharge a liquid produced during the centrifugation. The holes have a cross-section with an elliptical shape. The cross-section of the holes is widened from the inside to the outside. The hole wall is continuous in this case. The diameter of the cross-sections of the holes parallel to the drum axis on the inside of the casing is equal to the diameter of the cross-sections of the holes parallel to the drum axis on the outside of the casing. The diameter of the cross-sections of the holes in the peripheral direction, on the other hand, on the inside of the casing is smaller than the diameter of the cross-sections of the holes in the peripheral direction on the outside of the casing. The area of the elliptical holes may be additionally also divided by webs.

摘要： A drier for wood chips and other bulk materials includes an incinerator for indirectly heating a drying apparatus. The drier operates in a circulatory gas operation with a high water vapor load. All drier exhaust gases are fed to the incinerator and thermally post-combusted there. The drying apparatus includes two drier lines. The first line is heated with the heat of the inflowing vapor, the heat being removed from the exhaust gas flow in a gas-gas heat exchanger and supplied to the vapor feedback. The second drier line includes a heat register, whose heat is extracted from the exhaust gases in a heater, which is arranged directly after the incinerator and reduces the exhaust gas temperature to approximately 500.degree. to 600.degree.. The gas-gas heat exchanger can thus be embodied as a simple sheet metal structure.

A tension relieving device is provided for relieving or counteracting the tension forces of the endless drive arrangement. Thus the elastic supporting members of the centrifuge basket support unit are not stressed by the tension forces of the endless drive arrangement, and the tension relieving device can be pre-stressed so that the basket is in a neutral position during operation. For pre-stressing the tension relieving device, it includes an elastic thrust element, such as a compression spring packet, in addition to a length adjustable strut. To avoid tilting moments, the tension relieving device is arranged in a plane of the endless drive arrangement between the two pulleys.

The peripheral wall of the massecuite distributor (40) is formed by several ring elements (41), (42, 43) which partly overlap in the axial direction leaving an annular gap (44, 45). The product distributor is surrounded by a downwardly conically expanding stationary bell (51) which forms a further gap or gap space between itself and the rotating rings.

Further, the inside of the drying stage is provided with a cover which, together with the upper drop edge of the washing stage, forms such a narrow passage or gap that the mist of contaminated wash liquid developing in the washing stage is kept away from the sugar in the drying stage. Thus, these mists of contaminated wash liquid may be discharged separately from the sugar.
