摘要： An embodiment includes a snap-fit temple interface of a lens. The snap-fit temple interface includes a first snap-fit feature and a second snap-fit feature. The first snap-fit feature of the lens is configured to be engaged with a first corresponding snap-fit feature of a temple assembly. The first snap-fit feature is configured to be engaged with the first corresponding snap-fit feature by a first movement of the lens in a first direction relative to the temple assembly followed by a second movement of the lens in a second direction relative to the temple assembly. The second snap-fit feature of the lens is configured to be engaged with a second corresponding snap-fit feature of the temple assembly. The second snap-fit feature is configured to be engaged with the second snap-fit feature by the second movement of the lens in the second direction relative to the temple assembly. The first direction is substantially perpendicular to the second direction.

The IR cameras mounted to the weapon are configured to determine a relative position of the IR emitters mounted on the head mounted display and to communicate the relative position of the IR emitters mounted on the head mounted display to the processing unit. The IR cameras mounted to the head mounted display are configured to determine a relative position of the IR emitters mounted to the weapon and communicate the relative position of the IR emitters mounted to the weapon to the processing unit.

The insert is configured to impose a spring force against the head of the user and is configured to allow at least a portion of the temple substrate to rotate axially about at least a portion of the insert such that the portion of the temple substrate deforms relative to the insert and at least partially independently of the insert.

The wave-shape insert includes at least one horizontal span and at least one vertical portion. The horizontal span is configured to dictate the deflection of a first portion of the temple substrate and enable rotation of the first portion of the temple substrate about the horizontal span. The vertical portion is configured to dictate a torsional stiffness of a second portion of the temple assembly.
