    • A light emitting control device for a light emitting diode print head includes a control unit, a pulse-mask unit, a strobe unit and a data output unit. The pulse-mask unit outputs n clock signals in sequence to a light emitting diode print head. The strobe unit outputs a strobe signal to the light emitting diode print head, so as to switch on the light emitting diode print head. The data output unit outputs a print data signal to the light emitting diode print head. When the pulse-mask unit outputs a k-th clock signal of the n clock signals, the pulse-mask unit delays the k-th clock signal for a predetermined time, and the data output unit pauses outputting the print data signal. After the predetermined time, the pulse-mask unit and the data output unit continue to output the rest of the clock signals and the print data signal.

    • A belt tension mechanism includes a tension roller disposed on a side of a photoconductive belt for pressing the photoconductive belt, a first elastic component connected to the tension roller for providing the elastic force to the tension roller, and a releasing device disposed on the other side of the photoconductive belt. The releasing device includes a actuating component for moving in a first direction and separating from the tension roller when being electrified so that the first elastic component can drive the tension roller to a position where the tension roller can press the photoconductive belt, and a second elastic component connected to the actuating component for driving the actuating component to a second direction opposite to the first direction when the actuating component is not electrified so that the actuating component can drive the tension roller to a position where the tension roller cannot press the photoconductive belt.

    • A printing control method of a printer is implemented in a printing system including an information providing device and a printer. The printer is connected to the information providing device for printing data sent by the information providing device. Once a printing driver program of the information providing device receives page data to be outputted, the printing driver program converts a number of first color components of the page data into a number of second color components and checks if any one of the second color components contains zeroes for all the content. If one second color component is found to have zeroes for all the content, this very second color component will not be sent to the printer, whereas the rest of the second color components will be sent to the printer for output.

    • The present invention provides a method and apparatus for forming an image. A controller manages a charger and a developing bias voltage to increase an absolute value of the charging voltage to an image-bearing member and an absolute value of a developing bias voltage to a developer-bearing member to predetermined values in a plurality of steps. The controller controls the developing bias voltage applied to the developer-bearing member; wherein the following relation holds in each of the plurality of steps: |VD|>|Vi|, where VD represents a developing bias voltage applied to the developer-bearing member and Vi represents a charged potential of the image-bearing member. This invention is especially useful for mono-component development using DC voltage as a development driving mechanism.
