摘要： A camera system is adaptable as for right-handed and left-handed users and is extendable and modifiable in a versatile fashion. The camera system includes a basic element connected to a lens, a recording housing, and a handle part. The basic element has a through-opening lying along the optical axis of the camera system, a first connecting point on a first side of the through-opening for receiving the lens, a second connecting point on a second side of the through-opening for mounting the recording housing, and a third connecting point whose central axis is arranged perpendicular to the optical axis for connecting the handle part. The basic element is rotatable about the first connecting point and is adapted to be locked into one of three positions, and the recording housing is rotatable about the second connecting point and is adapted to be locked into one of two positions.

摘要： An adapter for an endoscopic system. An ocular piece is suitable for substitution for the eye-piece of a conventional endoscope. The ocular piece includes a window that is fitted into the end of a barrel-like member and slightly recessed from the edge thereof. The endoscope-engageable portion of the adapter includes a similar window that is also recessed creating a thin cavity therebetween. A latch mechanism at the end of the endoscope engageable portion of the adapter includes a plate having an interior circular aperture that can be selectively moved between positions that block and permit axial travel between the ocular piece and the endoscope engageable portion. The thin chamber between the windows is filled with sterilized water, preventing loss of optical clarity from the accumulation of liquid particles on window surfaces. The separtion between the windows permits rotation therebetween without damage to optical surfaces.

摘要： An adaptor affixing a video camera to a film camera. The adaptor permits the transmission of the image formed on the focusing screen of the latter to reach the former in a correct left-right and up-down orientation. For this purpose, it utilizes a mirror which, in one position, transmits the image to the video camera. In the other, it permits the viewing of the image on the film camera's focusing screen with or without magnification. Nonetheless, it permits visual and manual access to the normal controls of the camera. A shield prevents the access of light not from the film camera's image to the video camera for a sharper and clearer image. The adaptor attaches to the usual coupling devices of the film camera which generally permits the affixing of photographic accessories. To permit a more compact system, the adaptor bends the light path from the image screen to the video camera through an angle greater than 90 degrees but not greater than 180 degrees. For a single lens reflex camera, this angle may amount to 130 degrees. For a view camera, the light path bends 180 degrees.
