摘要： A hanger on which one or a plurality of electric lamps is slidably positionable along an elongated housing having non-electrified rails. The hanger includes a different resiliently extensible helical electrical cord to supply electric power to each lamp. Each helical cord is longitudinally disposed within the housing; when there is more than one lamp, the helical cords of the additional lamps are each disposed in a separate container within the housing to prevent entanglement of the cords when the positions of the lamps are adjusted. The helical cords in their relaxed positions have a diameter greater than the width of a slot in the housing so that the helical cord cannot protrude or fall from the housing. The present hanger allows installation of the unit without the services of an electrician, and because the lamps can slide on the rails, the position of each lamp is fully adjustable longitudinally of the housing. The lamps are swiveledly mounted so that any desired disposition or orientation of light emanating from the unit may be attained. The unit may be used with standard electric light bulbs, spotlights, floodlights or with any other type of electric lamp.

摘要： A header particularly useful along the top of a closet door frame is provided for illuminating the interior of the closet. The header is outside the closet door and illumination is actuated by the closet door position. The illuminator has an elongated channel with three insulated conductors along its length. Lamp sockets with tips or points for perforating the insulation and contacting the conductors may be inserted at any arbitrary position along the length of the channel and are retained in position by elastic detents. Switches are connected to the conductors and strip in a similar manner so as to be actuated by the closet doors. The switches are locked in place by a clip for minimizing safety hazards. A decorative fascia conceals the switches and lamps.

The device includes a housing adapted to be secured to the track containing a fixed contact adapted to engage one conductor and a movable contact adapted to be shifted to a proper position to engage either of the other two conductors. Movement of the second contact is controlled by an indicator which extends outside the housing. The indicator assumes two positions corresponding to the positions of the contact with both positions being readily visible when the device is secured to a track so as to provide a clear indication of the circuit associated with the fixture.

A plurality of electrical conduit rails are received in the conduit rail carriers. Three of the conduit rails constitute pole rails and one of the conduit rails constitutes a zero-conduit rail. A fixedly mounting head or box carries a pair of conductor bars of opposite electrical polarity that serve as guide tracks and electric current supplying rails for opposite pairs of trolley wheels. The frame structure has means cooperating with centrally disposed guide rollers and the head or box to regulate or adjust engagement pressure force applied by the trolley wheels to the associated current supplying rails. The construction enables the outlet to be easily moved longitudinally in line or in a circular or curved path from one position to another.
