摘要： Various embodiments disclosed related to methods, compositions, and systems for treatment of a subterranean formation. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation. The method can include obtaining or providing a composition including a crosslinkable viscosifier polymer. The crosslinkable viscosifier polymer can include an ethylene repeating unit including a —C(O)NH2 group and an ethylene repeating unit including an —S(O)2OR1 group, wherein the repeating units are in block, alternate, or random configuration. At each occurrence R1 can be independently selected from the group consisting of —H and a counterion. The composition can also include at least one crosslinker. The method also includes placing the composition in a subterranean formation downhole.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for producing an aldehyde crosslinked polyacrylamide composition useful for strengthening paper. The method includes steps, wherein a) an aldehyde crosslinker and polyacrylamide are mixed in water to form an aqueous solution of aldehyde crosslinked polyacrylamide prepolymer; b) acid is added to the aqueous prepolymer solution to adjust the pH of the solution to a value from 1 to 5; c) storing and transporting the prepolymer solution to the location where the final glyoxalated polyacrylamide composition will be used; and d) adding a base to the stabilized prepolymer solution to adjust the pH of the solution to a value from 5.5 to 12, and e) allowing the aldehyde crosslinker and polyacrylamide contained in the aldehyde crosslinked polyacrylamide prepolymer solution to react further and form aldehyde crosslinked polyacrylamide composition useful for strengthening paper.

The technique employs a unique cationic core-shell polymer colloid that directs nanocrystals to the cytosol of living cells within a few hours of incubation. The present methods and compositions enable a host of advanced applications arising from efficient cytosolic delivery of nanocrystal imaging probes: from single particle tracking experiments to monitoring protein-protein interactions in live cells for extended periods.

摘要： The invention provides particle compositions having applications in nucleic acid analysis. Nucleic acid polymer particles of the invention allow polynucleotides to be attached throughout their volumes for higher loading capacities than those achievable solely with surface attachment. In one aspect, nucleic acid polymer particles of the invention comprise polyacrylamide particles with uniform size distributions having low coefficients of variations, which result in reduced particle-to-particle variation in analytical assays. Such particle compositions are used in various amplification reactions to make amplicon libraries from nucleic acid fragment libraries.
