    • A speaker device includes a diaphragm, a frame supporting the diaphragm vibratably along a vibration direction, and a driving part disposed in proximity of the frame and vibrating the diaphragm corresponding to an audio signal. The driving part includes a magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap formed along a direction different from the vibration direction of the diaphragm, a voice coil supporting part having a voice coil and vibrating along the magnetic gap, and a vibration-direction-conversion part direction-converting the vibration of the voice coil supporting part and transmitting the vibration to the diaphragm. The vibration-direction-conversion part includes a link body angle-converting a link part formed between the voice coil supporting part and the diaphragm.

    • A speaker includes an elongated diaphragm and a coupling member including forward and rearward segments, wherein at least two protrusions are provided at the rear side of the diaphragm along the major axis direction, the forward segment is engagingly disposed between the opposing end faces of two adjacent protrusions and also between the two portions of a rib of the diaphragm opposing each other in the minor axis direction, and wherein the outer circumferential surface of the voice coil bobbin is connected to the inner circumferential surface of the rearward segment, whereby the voice coil bobbin having a diameter larger than the dimension of the diaphragm measured along the minor axis direction can be successfully attached to the diaphragm. In the speaker described above, the diameter of the voice coil bobbin can be increased without decreasing the width of a surround thus enabling the withstanding of higher power input.

    • One mode of the present invention provides an electroacoustic transducer composed of a multifaced diaphragm assembly and a multifaced speaker housing assembly that is housed inside the multifaced diaphragm assembly.
