    • The invention provides a protective apparatus suit for protecting a portable device and its accessories of the portable device. The protective apparatus includes a holder for holding the portable device; a cover for accommodating at least part of the at least one accessory of the portable device; and a connector for rotatably connecting the holder and the cover. The cover includes a cable retainer for receiving at least part of a cable portion of the at least one accessory, and at least one receptacle for receiving at least part of at least one bulky portion of the at least one accessory. The protective apparatus has a simple design for wrapping the cable onto the protective apparatus and unwrapping the cable from the protective apparatus.

    • A phone handset having a speaker and a microphone which are connected by a flexible connector to form a connected unit, wherein the connected unit is detachable from the handset to form a headset. In a preferred embodiment, the connected unit is automatically releasable from the handset via a release means, which when activated, forcibly inserts the speaker of the connected unit into a user's ear when a hands-free mode is desired. The connected unit may be physically and electrically connected to the handset via a retractable cord, or may comprise a wireless headset device. An apparatus according to the present invention advantageously provides vastly improved convenience in hands-free phone operation and uninterrupted phone conversation during user transitions between a handset mode and a hands-free mode and vice versa.

    • A mobile device integrates a wireless headset with the housing of a mobile terminal. In an exemplary embodiment, the housing of the mobile terminal includes a fastener for mechanically connecting the wireless headset to the housing. When the wireless headset is mechanically disconnected from the housing, a speaker and microphone associated with the wireless headset interfaces with the mobile terminal via a wireless interface. However, when the wireless headset mechanically connects to the housing, the speaker and microphone associated with the wireless headset mechanically and electrically connect to the housing and operate as the speaker and microphone for the mobile terminal. A detector circuit included in the mobile device also determines the position of the wireless headset relative to the mobile terminal, and may automatically select a wireless or electrical interface between the wireless headset and the mobile terminal based on the determined position.

    • The present invention relates to a mobile phone including a main printed circuit board. A first connector and a second connector are welded respectively onto a first predetermined location and a second predetermined location of the main printed circuit board, wherein a first power supply and a second power supply are provided respectively by the first connector and the second connector. The main printed circuit board includes a first portion corresponding to a keypad module and a second portion corresponding to an LCM module. The mobile phone also provides a holder, wherein a space is included in the holder to accommodate the LCM module. A slit is formed at a predetermined location of the holder. The mobile phone further includes a secondary printed circuit board carrying a plurality of LEDs to provide a back light source. The secondary printed circuit disposed within the aforementioned slit includes a first contact point and a second contact point. The first contact point contacts correspondingly with the first connector, and the second contact point contacts correspondingly with the second connector.
