    • A regulator for providing a load current at a regulator output voltage to a load at an output of the regulator is described. The regulator has a differential input stage to provide a differential output voltage based on a reference voltage and based on the regulator output voltage. Furthermore, the regulator has an output driver to generate a control signal based on the differential output voltage. In addition, the regulator has a pass transistor to provide the load current in dependence of the control signal. The regulator also has clamping circuitry to sense an overvoltage indication which indicates that the pass transistor is being turned off. Furthermore, the clamping circuitry clamps the differential output voltage to a clamping voltage, if the overvoltage indication indicates that the pass transistor is being turned off.

    • A circuit includes a comparator that monitors a transient with respect to a predetermined threshold at the output of a voltage regulator and generates a compensation signal if the transient exceeds the predetermined threshold. A dynamic current pull-down block is triggered from the compensation signal of the comparator and operative with an output stage of the voltage regulator to mitigate the transient at the output of the voltage regulator by concurrently activating a plurality of current pull-down switches during the transient and sequentially deactivating each current pull-down switch of the plurality of current pull-down switches after its predetermined deactivation delay for each current pull-down switch.

    • A voltage regulating circuit for providing a regulated output voltage. The voltage regulating circuit includes a voltage regulator, a converting circuit, a capacitive device, a first current mirror module, and a second current mirror module. The voltage regulator has a first output producing the regulated output voltage and a second output producing a pass voltage. The converting circuit converts the pass voltage into a first current and a second current passing through a first converting node and a second converting node respectively, where the first current charges/discharges the capacitive device. The first current mirror module has a first current mirror path coupled to the first converting node and a second current mirror path coupled to the second converting node. The second current mirror module has a first current mirror path coupled to the second converting node and a second current mirror path coupled to the first output.
