摘要： A carrier control device estimates an amount of time to complete a picking operation at each of one or more racks which have arrived in a picking point area. The carrier control device adds up the amounts of time to perform picking operations at the racks performed after another rack has newly arrived, to thereby calculate an amount of time to wait for picking operation completion by the rack. The carrier control device compares the amount of time to wait for picking operation completion by the rack, with a previously set threshold, and determines which task the carrier having carried the rack is to perform, either putting down the rack and performing another task, or waiting for completion of an ongoing picking operation with the rack held thereon, depending on whether the time to wait until picking operation completion is larger or smaller than the threshold.

摘要： According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an industrial vehicle is provided comprising industrial vehicle hardware, tag reader, reader module, user interface, and vehicle controller. The tag reader and reader module cooperate to identify individual sequenced tags along an aisle path of a tag layout in accordance with a sequence list accessible to the reader module. The reader module compares a succession of sequenced tags with at least a portion of the accessible sequence list to determine if the succession of sequenced tags is in sequence along the aisle path in accordance with the sequence list and generates a missing tag signal for a malfunctioning sequenced tag when the comparison of the succession of sequenced tags with the sequence list indicates a sequence irregularity in the plurality of sequenced tags. The reader module then correlates vehicle functionality with the malfunctioning sequenced tag when a missing tag signal is generated.

摘要： Disclosed are a method, device and system for navigation of an autonomous supply chain node vehicle in a storage center using virtual image-code tape. In one aspect, a layout diagram with a set of shelves is analyzed. A trajectory for movement of the autonomous supply chain node vehicle avoiding the shelves is determined. A training set of discrete overlapping images of peripheral area along the trajectory is captured with an imaging device on the autonomous supply chain node vehicle in a learning mode. A virtual image-code tape capturing a continuous area of storage center with globally unique identifiers (GUIDs) associated with the peripheral area is generated. The GUIDs include spatial information and identifiable image features from the training set capturing floor marks. An operating set of discrete overlapping images is captured in a normal mode and compared with GUIDs of the virtual image-code tape to determine a current location.
