In the preferred embodiment the loop is made of three generally linear rigid members which are flexibly connected to each other such that, when the the rigid members are connected to the central pole, the formed loop extends at an upward angle from the pole. The loop, and in some embodiments, a handle on the central pole, form the basis for securing the refuse bag so that it is kept open for easy use.

摘要： A bag holder for supporting bags and to aid in filling the bags with debris comprises a base, a standard extending from the base, and a Support attachable to the standard. The base, standard and support may be disassembled into a compact form. The support is removable from the standard and includes a handle by which a user may exert control. A bag is supported by the support via frictional engagement therewith. This configuration protects the mouth of the bag from coarse debris entering therein and from lawn and garden implements used to fill the bag. A portion of the support which contacts the ground is structured aid configured to conform to the surface of the ground when downward pressure is exerted against the support. The support comprises a cylindrical peripheral wall which is expandable and contractible to engage and disengage the inner surface of the mouth of a plastic bag. A flange is integral with the cylindrical wall and includes a rough surface and protrusions or nodules which frictionally engage the mouth of the bag. The support includes a clamp which is coupled to the cylindrical wall by a living hinge. The cylindrical wall and the clamp are structured and configured to engage one another when the clamp is closed to lock the support in place. A pan for use as a lawn and garden tool includes a trough for scooping up debris. The trough has an open end through which debris may be scooped up and a handle opposite the open end. A rake is disposed at the open end of the pan. The rake comprises a series of spaced fingers which are configured to comb through an irregular surface to enhance the ability of the pan to scoop up debris. It is contemplated that the pan would be carried by the bag holder. The bag holder may also include a trough to carry sundry items.

The locking apertures are quickly and easily released once the removable internal support for a flexible bag is in position in the flexible bag. After being unlocked from its rolled-up configuration, the material memory inherent in the removable internal support for a flexible bag attempts to return the removable internal support for a flexible bag toward a flat configuration, but is constrained in an approximately cylindrical shape by the flexible bag in which it is installed. The flexible bag may then be filled, and the removable internal support for a flexible bag subsequently removed by simply pulling it out of the bag. The flexible bag may then be tied shut and disposed of in the conventional fashions, and the removable internal support for a flexible bag is ready for re-use.

摘要： A collapsible frame supports a leaf bag in such a position that a portion of the bag rests horizontally on the ground and the remainder of the bag is so attached to the frame so as to present a large arch-shaped opening to facilitate the collection of leaves, grass trimmings and other garden and lawn debris. The arch is formed by an overhead, resilient rod member inserted through an overhead receiving hem or fabric tunnel in or adjacent the perimeter of entrance to the bag. A pair of elongated rigid stabilizing feet are placed along the ground within the entrance to the bag. The ends of the overhead rod member are then inserted in an upwardly facing support cavity on each stabilizing foot. The overhead member forms an arcuate hoop or arch which supports the opening of the bag in a generally upright plane, with the remainder of the bag extending horizontally and parallel to the stabilizing feet. In a preferred embodiment, a second horizontal loop is secured at each end to a rearwardly facing cavity or passageway in each stabilizing foot. An intermediate portion of the horizontal hoop is attached to the floor of the bag to help retain the bag in a stretched out condition and maintains the arch member in close proximity to the floor.
