摘要： A pack frame and tree stand assembly is comprised of two major components. A back engaging support platform serves as the pack frame in the back pack mode and as the tree engaging support platform in the tree stand mode. A pack carrying seat is the second main component and is carried by spaced framework members which are pivotably attached to the back engaging support platform. In the back pack mode this second component forms a shelf upon which a pack can be placed. By being rotated through generally about 90.degree., the pack carrying seat becomes the seat portion of the tree stand. The stand is attachable to a tree by a tree encircling line which is carried by, and is securable to the frame of the seat of the tree stand.

The assembly includes a pair of sidewall members each having side arms pivotally connected at one end to opposite sides of a base. Telescoping assemblies are connected to the other ends of the side arms between common sides to secure the sidewall members in an upright position and to permit their rotation into a folded position overlying the base. The multi-purpose assembly is arranged into a portable chair and container from the compact folded position by rotating one or both of the sidewall members into the upright position. Movement of the multi-purpose assembly over loose terrain, such as sand and the like, is assisted by a ribbed roller secured adjacent to one side of the base.

摘要： An implement which is a stack starter. A wheeled chassis is provided and mounted on it is a stack starting frame which can be moved between a horizontal position and a vertical position to provide an upright against which a stack of hay bales can be started. The frame is in a horizontal position for transportation and can be latched in a vertical position for use to start the stack. The bales of hay are loaded on a flat bed wagon or truck by a loading machine. The flat wagon has prongs or rakes at one end. To start a stack the bed of the wagon is moved to a vertical position with the prongs or rakes underneath the stack with the bales up against the starting frame. The wagon is then backed away from the stack. The stack is started, that is held in that position by the stack starting frame. The next load is loaded up against the first which is against the starting frame.
