摘要： A wine list display container provides a horizontal barrel having a horizontal division cut therethrough providing bisymmetrical upper lid and lower base portions, each having coinciding mating face portions. At least one hinge is provided for connecting the upper and lower base portions together in a hinged fashion, the lid being movable on the hinges between closed and open positions. A pair of spaced feet are attached to the base for securely supporting the horizontal barrel on a flat surface, such as a table. An inner rack mounted within the barrel and on the barrel base supports a plurality of substantially equally sized information cards which can contain for example individual information on differing wines. A plurality of equally sized information cards are provided which removably and temporarily can be attached to the rack within the barrel with the cards and the rack being contained within the barrel when the lid assumes a closed position with the face portions mating.

By withdrawing the rod from one passage and reinserting it into another passage, the depth of the compartment can be adjusted. This depth adjustment is provided in a card rack that is also adjustable in width.

摘要： A storage device for storing card-like objects, for example photographs. The device is in the form of a cassette like container in which the objects are stacked upright in a rear section comprising the base, lower parts of each side wall and the rear wall of the cassette. A first section of the cassette is pivoted about the front edge of the base and comprises at least part of the top, the front wall and upper parts of the side walls complementary with the side wall lower parts. In the open condition of the cassette photographs can readily be turned forward one by one to stack face downwards on the front section. A plurality of such cassettes may be pivotally supported in a rectangular frame, one behind the other, so that the contents of each cassette can be readily inspected in turn.

The file drawer of the cabinet is provided with a pair of support rails respectively extending along the upper edges of the side walls of the file drawer. The rails can include an upwardly faced channel portion extending laterally into the box so that hanging folder type files can be placed in the drawer with the hangers of the files being protected from contact with the shell of the cabinet as the drawer is moved in and out. The rails may also provide a slide portion extending downwardly along the upper part of the drawer''s side walls so as to slide along the inside of the shell and therefore, to some degree, prevent the sides of the drawer from rubbing on the shell.

摘要： A guide rod locking and releasing mechanism for use with file drawers for apertured sheet material. A cam arrangement of simple construction moves the guide rod out smoothly. The guide rod is locked in place by a latch plate such that the front end face of the rod is flush with the front face of the drawer front panel. When it is desired to move the rod forward, a single motion of an operating means hidden within the drawer front panel and accessible through the bottom of the front panel moves the latch plate to release the rod and then operates a cam to move the rod forwardly so that the rod protrudes from the front face of the drawer front panel. The guide rod can then be grasped and pulled out to allow removing or adding sheet material.
