摘要： A plug-jack connecting structure is provided which includes a jack having a sleeve at a forward end of the jack. The sleeve has a non-circular outside shape and has grooves cut in an outer periphery thereof. A plug has a ring rotatably mounted thereon at one end thereof for receiving the sleeve. The ring has a sleeve receiving hole which has a shape complementary to the outside shape of the sleeve. By turning the ring through a 90 degree angle into engagement with the grooves, the jack and the plug are connected in a state in which they are prevented from being disengaged.

With the use of the infrared absorbent, there is provided an infrared absorbing material capable of absorbing near infrared light having a wavelength of 700-1500 nm or far infrared light with a high transmittance of visible light and a good fastness to heat and light. The infrared absorbent is suitable for various applications such as a safelight filter for infrared sensitive materials, control of growth of plants, cut-off of heat radiation, infrared cut filter harmful to tissues of human eyes, infrared cut filter for semiconductor light receiving elements or color solid image pick-up elements, and infrared cut filter for an optoelectronic integrated circuit wherein electrical and optical elements are incorporated in the same substrate.

摘要： Organic substrate materials having absorption maxima between 300 and 800 nm can be stabilized against the action of light by the presence of at least one compound represented by either of the following general formula (I) or (II): ##STR1## where M represents a metal atom selected from the group comprising Cu, Co, Ni, Pd and Pt; R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, cyano group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a cycloalkyl group, or a heterocyclic ring, each of the latter four groups being bonded directly or via a divalent connecting group to the corresponding carbon atom of the benzene ring.
