摘要： The present invention provides a gas generator for an air bag where an operation performance is excellent and an amount of NOx generation is reduced. When a flame from a second igniter 32 advances just upwardly to ignite and burn a transfer charge 36, flame-transferring holes 46 communicating with a second combustion chamber 25 are not exactly opposite to the advancing direction of the flame. Therefore, after the whole of the transfer charge 36 is burnt, large ignition energy is discharged from the flame-transferring holes 46 into the second combustion chamber 25.

摘要： A gas generator for an air bag, in which conduction of heat generated by combustion of a gas generating agent is restricted to effectively reduce or inhibit a temperature increase of a diffuser side on an outer shell container, is provided and thus, reduces the maximum surface temperature of the diffuser. The gas generator includes a housing which has a diffuser shell with at least one gas discharge port and a closure shell for forming an accommodating space together with the diffuser shell and the gas generating agent, installed in the housing, ignited and burnt by an igniting unit to generate a combustion gas, wherein the gas generator further includes a heat transfer restricting member for making a conduction of heat generated by a combustion of the gas generating agent to the diffuser shell side smaller than that to the closure shell side.

摘要： A polypropylene resin composition comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of a propylene polymer having an isotactic pentad fraction of 96% or more which is determined by .sup.13 C-NMR, (b) 0.01-5 parts by weight of at least one alkali salt selected from the group consisting of alkali carboxylates, alkali .beta.-diketonates and alkali salts of .beta.-ketacetate, (c) 0.01-5 parts by weight of an organophosphoric compound, and (d) 0.01-0.5 parts by weight of a lithium aluminum compound. The organophosphoric compound is represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, each of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is independently hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, M is a metal atom of an element selected from the group consisting of Group III, IV, XIII and XIV elements of the Periodic Table, and X is --OH when M is a metal atom of an element of Group III or XIII of the Periodic Table or X is .dbd.O or (--OH).sub.2 when M is a metal atom of an element of Group IV or XIV of the Periodic Table, and the lithium aluminum compound is represented by the following formula (II): �Al.sub.2 Li(OH).sub.6 !.sub.n Y.mH.sub.2 O (II) wherein Y is an inorganic or organic anion, n is a charge of Y and m is a number of 3 or less.
