    • A photographic camera has a cartridge chamber in which is loaded a film cartridge having a roll film entirely rolled to its leading end around a spool in a cartridge body and a light-shielding shutter member for opening and shutting a film exit slit formed in the cartridge body, an entrance opening to the cartridge chamber, and a chamber lid which is mounted on the camera to be moved between an opening position where it opens the entrance opening and a closed position where it closes the entrance opening. A shutter lock member moves to a shutter locking position, where it prevents release of the shutter of the camera, in response to operation of a rewind button. A holding member holds the shutter lock member in the shutter locking position, and a release member causes the holding member to release the shutter lock member after closure of the light-shielding shutter member of the film cartridge in response to opening of the chamber lid.

    • A telephone set comprises a noise detector, a noise level determining circuit, and a noise canceler. The noise detector detects a noise component from a transmitting acoustic signal by detecting signal recurrence of the transmitting acoustic signal. The noise level determining circuit determines a noise level by comparing the noise component with a first threshold. According to the noise level, the noise canoelet cancels the noise component from the transmitting acoustic signal when the noise level is not smaller than the first threshold. The telephone set further comprises a frequency characteristics controller for a received acoustic signal to obtain a desired speech articulation. The frequency characteristics controller, based on the noise level, determines a level change region, a level change value, and a level change direction of the spectrum of the received acoustic signal.

    • A warp tension control apparatus includes a tension detector for detecting the tension of a warp and an operation mode controller for generating a control signal to drive a motor so as to minimize the deviation between the detected tension and a normal target tension. A long period stop mode controller is included for controlling the tension so that a target slack tension is set to be less than the normal target tension when a loom stop signal has been issued. A selector switch is provided for selectively switching to a contact connected to an output of the long period stop mode controller before entering a long unmanned operating period of the loom, the switch being disposed in a circuit between an input terminal of the long period stop mode controller which receives a loom stop signal and a warp tension slack device. A switch is provided for stopping the output of the operation mode controller when the long period stop mode controller outputs the slack tension control signal such that the warp tension when the loom is stopped is said to be less than that at the time of normal operation only when the selector switch is selectively switched to a contact connected to the output of the long period stop mode controller.

    • An oscillationless semisubmerged high-speed vessel comprises at least one lower hull submerged below the water surface in the cruising state of the vessel, an upper hull above the water surface and struts connecting the lower hull and an upper hull. The lower hull possesses horizontal fins controlling longitudinal and transverse oscillations of the vessel, steering devices, water ballast tanks for adjusting water line of the vessel and propelling means. The struts are so designed that the water plane area is small so as to minimize the oscillation force, i.e. the vessel does not have a self-stabilizing ability both longitudinally and transversely with only reverse buoyancy kept by the struts when the vessel heels. The struts are constructed to have a sufficient strength for connection of the lower hull and an upper hill. The bulged structures are constructed to contain the propelling means. The struts and the bulged structures are disposed in a midship part of the lower hull to minimize longitudinal oscillations of the vessel due to the wave heaving forces which are vertical components of wave exciting forces generated at both fore and aft parts of the vessel. Steering devices are disposed at a fore part of the lower hull to prevent the vessel from transverse oscillations at an initial stage of healing. Therefore the vessel of this invention can eliminate the oscillations longitudinally and transversely. Thus the vessel of this invention can be an oscillationless high speed vessel which navigates for a long time without causing large accelerative oscillations due to waves on the sea surface.
