摘要： A high pressure fuel pump for an internal combustion engine having a cylinder, a plunger slidably fitted in the cylinder and a seal mechanism for blocking fuel leakage from an end of a sliding portion between the cylinder and the plunger and also for preventing an lubricant for a driving mechanism of the plunger from entering into the cylinder from the end of the sliding portion of the cylinder and the plunger. A holder surrounding the end of the sliding portion of the cylinder and the plunger is provided. The seal mechanism comprises two mutually independent seal devices mounted with a specific spacing in a longitudinal direction from the end of the sliding portion of the cylinder and the plunger along a circumference of the plunger. The two seal devices are held on the circumference of the plunger by the holder surrounding the end of the sliding portion of the cylinder and the plunger while keeping the specific spacing.

摘要： A battery pack which can increase of the volumetric efficiency of the battery pack without being contained in a resin mold case is provided. A first laminate material has a concave portion formed by drawing where a battery element is contained. A second laminate material is stacked so as to cover the opening of the concave portion to seal up the periphery of the opening. The first and second laminate materials are bend inwards so as to cover the battery element, and bonded and fixed together by heating. The first laminate material has three-layer structure including a polypropylene layer, a soft aluminum layer, and a nylon layer or PET layer. The second laminate material has a similar structure but includes a hard aluminum layer. Therefore, the second laminate material has enough strength to resist deformation without being contained a cell in a resin mold case.

The control device of the high-pressure fuel pump of the internal combustion engine has a fuel injection valve provided on a cylinder and the high-pressure fuel pump for pumping fuel to the fuel injection valve, wherein the high-pressure fuel pump comprises a pressure chamber, a plunger for pressurizing the fuel in the pressure chamber, a fuel valve provided in the pressure chamber, and the actuator for operating the fuel valve. The control device has means for calculating the drive signal of the actuator so as to realize the variable discharge of the high-pressure fuel pump. The means for calculating the drive signal has means for limiting the end timing of the drive signal of the actuator to a predetermined phase and/or means for limiting the output timing of the drive signal of the actuator to be within a predetermined phase range.

A compressor rotor of the compressor and a turbine rotor of the expansion turbine are attached to a common main shaft in the turbine unit in such a manner that the turbine unit drives the compressor rotor with a power generated by the turbine rotor, and the main shaft is rotatably supported by a rolling contact bearing. A part or the entirety of a thrust force applied to the main shaft is supported by an electromagnet, and a pressure equalizing device for equalizing a gas pressure at opposite ends of the rolling contact bearing is provided.

摘要： The objective of the present invention is to dampen operating sounds of an electromagnetic drive mechanism used for a variable displacement to reduce an individual difference depending on apparatus due to the control mechanism in a high-pressure fuel supply pump change over time or installation tolerance.To achieve the above objective, the present invention is configured such that before the electromagnetic drive mechanism supplies a drive force to a plunger which is electromagnetically driven by the electromagnetic drive mechanism, another displacement force situates the plunger in a specific position. When compared to an occasion where the plunger is displaced all strokes by a magnetic biasing force, the above configuration is able to reduce the force of impact on a member (for example, valve body) mounted to the plunger and a restricting member, thereby damping the collision noise. Furthermore, since an extra member, such as a damping member, is not required, individual difference depending on apparatus do not easily occur.
