摘要： A light amount correction apparatus for an image recording system in which a photographic material is exposed with light from semiconductor light sources of three colors to record images includes a driving circuit which controls the semiconductor light sources electrically with image signals so as to emit light. A monitor circuit is provided to sequentially measure the amount of light emitted from the semiconductor light sources with a photosensor and respectively outputs voltage signals corresponding thereto. Setting circuits are also provided for respectively setting reference signals for the three colors and a correction circuit is provided for adding deviations to the image signals, the deviations being obtained by respectively comparing voltage signals from the monitor circuit with the reference signals. A filter is disposed between the semiconductor light sources and the photosensor for equalizing a spectral sensitive characteristic of the photosensor with a spectral sensitive characteristic of the photographic material such that each exposure amount of light from the semiconductor light sources pass through the filter so as to always expose the photographic material with light having a constant amount and temperature.

摘要： An image forming method for exposing a light-sensitive material with a semiconductor light source whereby temperature-dependent variations in the radiation intensity and spectral characteristics of the light source are fully compensated for so as to maintain constant exposure conditions. For this purpose, correction coefficients for ambient temperature dependent variations in the radiation intensity and spectral characteristics of the semiconductor light source are stored in a memory as tabulated data. In response to the measured ambient temperature, a correction coefficient is read from the memory and applied to compensate for any variations in the radiation intensity and spectral characteristics of the semiconductor light source. Also, the correction can be effected in accordance with the measured temperature of the light source, that measurement being performed by detecting a change in the forward bias supplied to the semiconductor light source.

The solid-state image sensor is provided with a photoelectric converter having a plurality of non-destructive readout type image sensor cells arranged in a matrix form; an exposure detector for reading out stored information of predetermined ones of the image sensor cells during exposure, obtaining an added value of the stored information thus read out and detecting that the added value reaches a predetermined level; an exposure controller which is supplied with the detected signal from the exposure detector to control at least one of the charge storage time of each image sensor cell by an optical signal, the intensity of light incident on the image sensor cell and the photosensitivity of the image sensor cell; and a scanner for scanning the photoelectric converter to read out stored information of the image sensor cells during exposure.

摘要： This invention provides a surface mounting type light emitting diode excellent in heat radiation performance, reliability and productivity. The surface mounting type light emitting diode includes a metallic base member, a semiconductor light emitting element having a bottom face fixedly bonded to a top face of the base member, and a metallic reflector joined to the top face of the base member with a heat conduction type adhesive sheet interposed therebetween, to surround the semiconductor light emitting element. Heat generated from the semiconductor light emitting element is transferred to the reflector via the base member and the heat conduction type adhesive sheet, and then is radiated to the outside. The metallic reflector can efficiently radiate the heat to the outside. The cutting margin provided for the reflector facilitates a dicing process, which improves productivity.

摘要： There is provided a light emitting device which makes it possible to reduce optical loss and improve brightness by increasing a ratio of fluorescent light that is not reabsorbed by a light emitting element while decreasing a ratio of scattered light that is reabsorbed by the light emitting element. Individual faces forming outer faces of the light emitting element 2 are in contact with a bonding member 3 or sealing member 4. The bonding member 3 and the sealing member 4 contain a fluorophor. Emitted light emitted from the faces of the light emitting element 2 is transformed into fluorescent light by the fluorophor. Therefore, the ratio of scattered light that is not transformed from the emitted light into the fluorescent light can be decreased while the ratio of fluorescent light is increased.
