The printer prints out an image on the basis of print form data in which information of layout contents of printing elements that form the content of print is set according to the attribute of each printing element. The printer includes a print form data storage unit, a printing element data storage unit, a print form data selection unit, a printing element data selection unit, and a printing element data insertion unit. The print form data selection unit selects a piece of print form data, which is used for printing, from multiple pieces of print form data stored in the print form data storage unit in a specific sequence that is set so that, when the printing is continuously performed, the frequencies of use of the nozzles of the print head are uniform and are equal to or higher than a predetermined frequency.

With this configuration, it is possible to provide the image fixing apparatus capable of restraining a stress applied to the heater and an image heating apparatus capable of restraining a rise in temperature of a sheet non-feeding portion.

摘要： A dense cordierite based sintered body contains 93% by mass or more of cordierite among crystal components contained in the sintered body, and an average particle diameter of the particle which constitute the sintered body is 2 μm or less. A method of manufacturing a dense cordierite based sintered body, includes the steps of: using cordierite powder having an average particle diameter of 2 μm or less as a raw material; and sintering the raw material at a temperature of 1350 to 1450° C. The dense cordierite based sintered body satisfactorily exhibits original characteristics of cordierite, and a sufficient strength.
