    • A high-current fuse for vehicles is provided. This high-current fuse includes a conductive plate having a fuse and terminal connecting portions on both ends, and a resin case into which the conductive plate is insert-molded. A heat radiating portion for releasing heat generated from the fuse and the conductive plate when energized is provided on the outer surface of the resin case. The heat radiating portion is made up of a plurality of thin plates arranged on the resin case at regular intervals. The thin plates are situated in parallel with the energizing direction so as to strengthen the resin case. To keep the fuse away from both ends of the conductive plate, a pair of assisting plates facing to each other are formed in the middle of the conductive plate, and the fuse is disposed between the assisting plates. The fuse between the assisting plates is in the direction perpendicular to the energizing direction of the conductive plate.

    • The present invention relates to a connector for use in a wiring harness for motor vehicles, and more particularly to a method for shifting a terminal, which is in an incompletely inserted state in a terminal accommodating chamber of a connector housing, to a completely inserted position thereof by use of an inserted position correcting jig.As a general procedure of the above method, a front end portion of the inserted terminal position correcting jig is inserted into an opening formed in a peripheral wall provided extendedly from the rear portion of a connector housing, which opening functioning as its pivot center and having a correcting operation checking member therein, thereby to shift the jig toward the housing pivoting on the opening, and by this operation the jig is fitted with the rear end portion of the terminal which is still in an incompletely inserted state so as to shift the terminal to a completely inserted position and securely locked, wherein since the correcting operation checking member formed in the opening is removed when the front end portion of the jig is inserted, whether or not the correcting operation is perfectly done can be checked from outside by a removal or deformation of the correcting operation checking member.

    • A fuse comprising: a fusible portion constituted by a connection portion which is formed of the same metal base material as a pair of terminals so as to connect the pain of terminals to each other, and a low-melting metal having a melting point lower than that of the connection portion and stacked by welding on at least a portion of the connection portion; and at least one protrusion formed on the fusible portion by making the connection portion and the low-melting metal project in a direction parallel to the plane of an interface between the connection portion and the low-melting metal. Further disclosed is a method of manufacturing the fuse.
