    • A charcoal gas lighter includes a fire basket for containing briquettes of charcoal, a mesh plate and a gas burner. The fire basket has a charcoal container having an upper end and a lower end, and the upper end and lower end are open. The mesh plate that is attached near the lower end of the charcoal container, and is adapted to support the briquettes of charcoal. The gas burner supports the fire basket. Heat generated by the gas burner is guided into the fire basket whereby the briquettes of charcoal are lighted. The fire basket further includes handle, and a heat block plate that is provided between the charcoal container and the handle. The mesh plate is cone-shaped and includes a plurality of concentric rings, and a plurality of radial spokes that connect the concentric rings.

    • The present invention relates to a liquid crystal device to which a line on glass structure and a cascade structure are both applied, and a manufacturing method thereof. The liquid crystal device includes: a liquid crystal panel including a plurality of pixels defined by gate lines and data lines that cross each other, wherein a first group of signal lines is formed on the liquid crystal panel in an on-glass-configuration; a plurality of tape carrier packages mounted with source drivers that provide data signals through the data lines to the liquid crystal panel and mounted on the liquid crystal panel in a cascade structure, wherein a second group of signal lines connected to the first group of signal lines is formed thereon; and a printed circuit board combined directly with only one of the plurality of tape carrier packages so as to supply a plurality of driving signals and control signals to the liquid crystal panel.

    • An apparatus and method for data transmission and an apparatus and method for driving an image display device using the same are disclosed, in which transition of data is minimized during data transmission to minimize electromagnetic interference. The apparatus for data transmission includes a data modulator modulating low bits excluding the most significant bit (MSB) in response to the MSB of input data, and a data restorer restoring the modulated data transmitted from the data modulator to their original data in response to the MSB. Since the low data bit excluding the MSB data are inverted in response to the MSB data of the input data, the number of times of data transition can be reduced to reach half, thereby minimizing electromagnetic interference.
