摘要： A torque converter automatic transmission of a motor vehicle is equipped with an overheat prevention system of the torque converter. The system comprises a first unit which detects the temperature of a hydraulic fluid in an oil pan of the transmission; a second unit which detects whether the engine is under high load condition or low load condition; a third unit which derives an overheat judging reference temperature in accordance with the detection of the second unit, the overheat judging reference temperature indicating a first reference temperature upon detection of the high load condition of the engine by the second unit and indicating a second reference temperature upon detection of the low load condition of the engine by the second unit, the first reference temperature being lower than the second reference temperature; and a fourth unit which carries out a given operation to lower the temperature of the torque converter when the temperature of the hydraulic fluid in the oil pan exceeds the overheat judging reference temperature.

The liquid crystal display device is arranged by one pair of substrates whose thermal expansion coefficients are different from each other, the substrates being mutually attached to each other via a predetermined space, predetermined patterns formed on inner surfaces of the respective substrates and positionally aligned to each other, a dimension of one pattern being previously and adjustably set with respect to a dimension of the other pattern based upon a difference existing in the thermal expansion coefficients of the paired substrates; and liquid crystal held in the predetermined space defined by the paired substrates.

摘要： An injection molding machine equipped with an assembly for vibration processing which efficiently performs processing operations on the resin in the mold with vibration overcomes the restriction of vibration frequency due to the limited response of return springs and due to vibration transfer loss from the vibratory rods to the vibratory plate when operating at a high frequency. The injection molding machine performs both vibration and ejection without an ejector plate by making the vibratory plate serve a dual purpose and thus enable reduction in both mold size and production cost.

This arrangement can reduce the size of the automatic transmission. For example, the first clutch has a first clutch drum splined to an input shaft of the transmission, a first clutch hub, and a first clutch pack between the first clutch drum and hub. The second clutch has a second clutch drum received in, and splined to, the first clutch drum, a second clutch hub, and a second clutch pack therebetween. The second clutch pack is surrounded by the first clutch pack. The second clutch further includes a piston which encloses the first clutch drum and which has a pushing portion on one side of the second clutch pack and a pressure receiving portion on the opposite side.
