摘要： The present invention provides a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image comprising of: toner particles containing at least a binder resin, a colorant and a releasing agent; wherein a volume-average particle diameter of the toner particles is in a range of about 5 to 8 μm; an average of shape factor SF1 of the toner particles is in a range of about 125 to 140; and an arithmetical mean undulation height of the surface of the toner particles at the 90% point on the cumulative distribution curve is in a range of about 0.15 to 0.25 μm. Further, the present invention provides an electrostatic latent image developer containing the toner. The invention also provides a method for producing the toner.

摘要： In the semiconductor device of the present invention, a plurality of dummy patterns are formed in a grid arrangement in the scribe line areas of a wafer, and a plurality of dummy patterns are formed in a diagonally forward skipped arrangement in the chip interior areas of the wafer. Altering the arrangement of dummy patterns in the chip interior areas and scribe line areas in this way enables formation of dummy patterns with greater uniformity in the chip interior areas and enables formation of dummy patterns with greater resistance to loss that occurs when dicing in scribe line areas.

摘要： An apparatus and a process for recovering an abrasive from a waste fluid of a chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process. The apparatus comprises a pre-filter into which a waste fluid of a CMP process is introduced, a membrane separation apparatus into which filtered waste fluid obtained from the pre-filter is introduced, a washing unit wherein a concentrated slurry obtained from the membrane separation apparatus is washed with water and a post-filter wherein the concentrated slurry obtained from the washing unit is filtered. Particles of the abrasive are thereby efficiently recovered from a waste fluid discharged from a CMP process in semiconductor manufacturing factories and are reused.

摘要： A magnetic disk apparatus is disclosed, in which the product specifications such as the number of heads, the number of disks and the information on the destination of the apparatus can be efficiently, accurately identified by a single circuit. The magnetic disk apparatus comprises an identification circuit that can identify the performance specification information. The identification circuit includes a first resistor circuit arranged on a cable connecting a head actuator and a printed board, a second resistor circuit formed on the printed board and having an end thereof connected to a reference voltage and the other end thereof connected in series to the first resistor circuit, an A/D converter for converting the voltage value at the junction point of the first and second resistor circuits into a digital value of a predetermined number of bits, and a memory for storing in advance the performance specification information and the control information of the magnetic disk apparatus corresponding to a digital value of a predetermined number of bits. The control circuit on the printed board can thus control the magnetic disk apparatus by judging the performance specification information of the magnetic disk apparatus from the output value of the A/D converter and the value stored in the memory.
