摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for vertically felling trees by taking apart the trunk in a stepwise manner combining sagittal and horizontal cross-sections. A vertical frame is attachable to a tree trunk, the vertical frame having a movable portion and a fixed portion. A first cutting device is attachable to the vertical frame and configured to cut the tree sagittally substantially along a longitudinal axis of the tree. A second cutting device is attachable to the vertical frame and configured to cut the tree horizontally from an exterior of the tree to a sagittal cut made in the tree by the first cutting device. A locking mechanism releasably locks the movable portion of the frame to the fixed portion of the frame. The apparatus uses the weight of the upper trunk to maintain stability to steadily decrease the tree height until the entire tree is removed.

摘要： A two piece holster support for supporting a handgun holster on a belt includes a first piece that is configured to clamp onto the belt at a clamp location when the belt is threaded through the first piece in a belt direction and pulled tight, thereby to support the first piece on the belt. A second piece is supported on the first piece for sliding movement relative to the first piece in the belt direction between a plurality of positions at varying distances from the clamp location. The second piece has a loop configuration defining a belt passage for engaging the belt at a location spaced apart form the base and thereby supporting the second piece on the belt. The second piece is movable on the first piece in the belt direction whereby the belt passage on the movable piece can be set at a variable distance from the clamp location of the base.

摘要： A system and method of providing centrally updatable digital content on local electronic devices via a remote device content and learning management system is provided. At least one media server is provided having central high bandwidth content resident thereon, at least intermittently communicatable with at least one local electronic device. The local device is populatable with the central high bandwidth content as an instance of local high bandwidth content. The local high bandwidth content is compared to the central high bandwidth content, and the currentness of the local high bandwidth content is determined with respect to the central high bandwidth content. The local high bandwidth content is updated if it is determined to be not current with respect to the central high bandwidth content via downloading newer content from the media server to the local electronic device. The system is preferably app-based.
