The spacer (4) includes a plurality of positioning grooves (45) in an external side thereof for receiving and positioning the soldering portions (203c) of one part contacts (23) located at an upper side of the front portion (12). The soldering portions (203a, 203b) of the other contacts (21a, 21b) are sandwiched between the spacer (4) and the rear portion (11) thereby forms a waved configuration.

摘要： A socket, adapted for electrically connecting an IC package to a printed circuit board, comprises an insulative housing accommodating a plurality of contacts and a cover pivotally assembled on an end of the insulative housing. The insulative housing has two lateral sides and a base portion disposed between the lateral sides, and each lateral side is formed with two incepting portions on two opposite ends thereof. The cover has two fixing portions extending downwardly from two sides thereof and corresponding to the incepting portions of the insulative housing. When the cover rotates to a close position, the fixing portion of the cover directly latches the incepting portion of the insulative housing to prevent the cover from tilting.

摘要： An electronic card connector includes an insulative housing, a number of contacts and a first switch terminal retained on the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a receiving space, a receiving slot communicating with the receiving space along an up to down direction and a limiting block at a front side of the receiving slot. The first switch terminal has a fastening portion retained on the insulative housing, a connecting portion forwardly extending to the receiving slot, a limiting portion forwardly extending to a lower side of the limiting block and a tail portion. The switch terminal further has a guiding portion extending sidewardly. The insulative housing has a pre-pressing surface at one side of the receiving slot to pre-press the guiding portion and prevent the switch terminal from bouncing upwardly to resist a front side of the limiting block in an assembly process of the switch terminal.

摘要： A burn-in socket for receiving an IC package comprises a socket body, a plurality of contacts mounted in the socket body and an actuator movably mounted upon the socket body. Each contact in the socket body includes a pair of clipping arms with tip portions at free ends thereof respectively. Solder balls attached to the bottom of the IC package are respectively clipped between the pair of the tip portions and thus the IC package should be brought into electrical contact with the contacts of the burn-in socket. The tip portion is plated with a Pd—Co layer for reducing the attachment of the Sn and preventing the impedance of the contacts to increase. Meanwhile, the IC package can be sucked up successfully without absorption from the contacts of the burn-in socket.
