    • A permanent-magnet generator with flux control means, which has a device simple in construction to increase or decrease air gaps for flux path in response to an rpm of a rotor, regulating a magnetic flux flowing in a stator. The permanent-magnet generator is envisaged further curbing the magnetic flux flowing in the stator at high-speed rotation of the rotor, maintaining an output voltage of the generator within prescribed limits at any given time. The stator winding is made up of a three-phase output winding wound on the stator teeth and other three-phase flux regulator winding, the latter winding being reverse in winding direction to the former. The flux regulator winding is connected to the output winding through a flux regulator switch. With the permanent-magnet generator constructed as stated earlier, the on-off operation of the flux regulator switch conjoins with increase or decrease of the air gap for flux path by the flux regulator ring to maintain the output voltage of the generator within a prescribed voltage value.

    • This invention creates electrical energy using the forces of powerful magnets attached to a rotary. The rotary is inserted through a box-like structure which is filled with magnets. The magnets on the rotary are placed in the opposite direction to those in the box to create the resistance created when magnets of the same polarity are faced each other. The force created by the resistance makes the rotary spin extremely fast within the box. The rotary is connected to a belt and then attached to an electric generator. The spinning motion of the rotary puts the generator in motion which then creates the energy it was designed to create, without the use of fuel, wind, or radioactive material.

    • An electric drive control device is provided with an electric machine having an asymmetrical salient pole, a current detecting portion, a phase converting device that converts the detected current into an axis current, and a current controlling device which generates a voltage command value based on the axis current and a current command value of the axis current. The current controlling device generates the voltage command value in response to the detected current and an offset angle of the center of a magnetic flux density distribution occurring at the salient pole, with respect to the center of an opening angle of the salient pole. In this case, the current controlling device generates a voltage command value corresponding to the detected current and the offset angle so the electrical characteristics are the same as when an electric machine having a symmetrical salient pole is used.

    • In a rotor for a rotary electric machine, a predetermined number of main pole magnets and a predetermined number of yoke magnets are fixed in contact with a hub. Each main pole magnet is magnetized so that its radial inside portion and its radial outside portion have the opposite polarity from each other, of north pole and south pole. Also, each main pole magnet has its radial inside and radial outside polarities reversed from its closest main pole magnets. The yoke magnets are disposed to allow magnetic flux to flow through circumferential surfaces of the main pole magnets. The hub is provided as a heat radiating member and made of metal having high heat conductivity. The hub includes an inner cylindrical portion and an outer cylindrical portion, and forms an air passage spaces.

    • A rotor for an induction motor. The rotor includes a core, a pair of end rings, and a plurality of aluminum conducting members. The core includes a plurality of accommodating holes that are aligned circumferentially in a peripheral portion of the core. The accommodating holes extend from one end surface of the core to the other. The end rings are formed of aluminum alloy. Each of the end rings has a plurality of support holes corresponding to the accommodating holes. The support holes are aligned circumferentially in a peripheral portion of each end ring.
