摘要： A system for forming a building partition wherein wall panels are secured to opposite sides of vertically extending studs. A metal base member capable of rapid attachment to the edge of a wall panel which base member defines a clip supporting slot. A clip slidably engageable in the slot at divers horizontal positions therealong so that the panels can be attached to studs notwithstanding minor differences in widths of the panels. The clip and the stud cooperate so that the panels can be removed without destruction of the panel, if such becomes necessary during relocation of a partition.

The panel system is provided with flashing affixed to the base plate and a suitable skirting member is disclosed.

摘要： In a wall panel system having a plurality of wall panel sections connected in an end to end fashion, a plurality of vertically disposed retainers are utilized for joining the wall panel sections. One of the retainers comprises a longitudinal member having a U-shaped cross section, the base of which is provided with longitudinal extending deformations on the opposite side thereof adjacent the legs of the member. Tab means are provided at strategic locations along the length of the base adjacent each of the longitudinal deformations to form therein between compressive snap lock means to receive and hold portions of the wall panel sections. A second retainer has an H-shaped cross section. Longitudinally disposed deformations are provided on the legs of the second retainer and function to form compressive snap lock means when used in conjunction with other portions of the wall panel system. The base of the second retainer is provided with selectively positionable tab means, which in one position cooperate with the deformations formed on one pair of the legs to further secure the wall panel member positioned therein between.

摘要： Laterally spaced vertical securing members in the form of telescoping tubes support respective sides of lining panels extending therebetween. The outer tubular support member is formed by a pair of U-shaped members whose vertical flanges extend outwardly therefrom in the plane of the panels, lie faceto-face and carry hooks which extend at right angles away from the flanges at their outer edges on both sides of the outer support member. Slots within the panels of a width in excess of the hooks and at positions corresponding to the hooks permit the panels to be hung thereon. The panels terminate in L-shaped recesses at their edges and an L-shaped vibration dampener is sandwiched within the recess and between the panel and right angle wall portions of the outer vertical tubular support member. The inner telescoping tubular member may be slotted at the top at right angles to the plane of the panel supported thereby, and a plate is welded within the slot and to the upper deck to securely position the vertical support member. U-shaped backing spacers having a lengthwise dimension corresponding to the lateral width of the partition and lining are slotted adjacent both ends to receive the hooks and retain adjacent vertical support members at desired spaced intervals.

摘要： An angular first member is a bracket having two mutually inclined arms one of which can be fastened to a structural element and the other of which extends normal to it and has a free edge with a slot extending inwardly from the free edge and a pair of holes being formed in the region of the free edge at opposite lateral sides of the slot. A spring clip is provided on this other arm overlying the slot having a substantially circular portion which encircles an inner end of the slot and two legs which extend in unbiased condition of the spring clip at 90* angle to the circular portion and whose free ends are received in the holes provided in the other arm, so that the legs are biased towards one another to some extent and their juncture with the circular portion defines a width or gap which is somewhat narrower than the width of the slot. A second member is configurated as a bolt which can be secured to another structural element and whose shaft can be snapped into the circular portion of the spring clip, being retained therein by the legs of the spring clip in the region of their juncture. The shaft has a head which prevents its withdrawal in axial direction from the slot.

摘要： A modular partition comprising a plurality of modular panels, each supported between vertical posts which in turn are supported by and on a base rail. The vertical posts are so arranged that the modular panels may be hung therefrom by hooks along their vertical edges entering into appropriate slots in flanges on the post. The post, supported by a base rail, when arranged back to back, provides for a two sided wall; where the posts are supported on a rail so that they are not back to back, a single sided wall can be arranged which may be placed against an existing adjacent wall. The vertical posts not only provide means for suspending the modular wall panels, but also provide a channel with bracket support hooks on the inside of the channel from which modular furniture such as bookshelves having appropriate inter-engaging brackets may be hung and may be readily attached and removed.
