摘要： A tractor includes an internal combustion engine and is adapted for underwater operation, with inlet and outlet means extending to above the surface of the water for supplying air to the engine and exhausting combustion gas therefrom. A dredging implement in the form of a blade and auger, directs material from the floor to adjacent one end of a conduit means as the vehicle is transported over the floor. An impeller associated with the conduit means transports the material therethrough and from the other end of the conduit means, which is positioned above the surface of the water. The dredging implement may alternatively take the form of a pair of wing members, each angled upwardly and inwardly in the rearward direction to direct material to adjacent the one end of the conduit means. Means remote from the vehicle, and positionable on shore, are included for operating the submerged tractor.

摘要： A system for energizing the vehicle engine starter motor when the vehicle engine stalls while the vehicle is at a speed greater than a predetermined minimum so as to maintain the operation of the vehicle engine driven accessories. A vehicle speed switch maintains the output of a summing junction, which output constitutes the input to a power switch, at ground so as to inhibit the power switch when the vehicle speed is below the predetermined speed and switches to supply a positive current signal to the summing junction at speeds equal to or greater than the predetermined speed. A vehicle engine speed tachometer supplies a negative current signal to the summing junction having a magnitude related to engine speed. The net current output of the summing junction when the vehicle engine speed is at or above the minimum engine idle speed, is insufficient to energize the power switch. When the engine speed decreases below the minimum idle speed, the net current output of the summing junction increases to energize the power switch which in turn energizes the vehicle starter solenoid. The vehicle starter motor cranks the vehicle engine so as to maintain the operation of the engine driven accessories while the vehicle speed is above the predetermined minimum speed.

摘要： The invention relates to a circuit for actuating an output load when an input signal above a predetermined level is present. In a particular embodiment the output load is a coil which actuates a linkage to prevent the accelerator pedal of a vehicle from fully closing when it is released by the driver while the vehicle is traveling above a predetermined speed. The input signal is a varying voltage, the frequency of which is representative of the vehicle speed. By so controlling the closing of the accelerator pedal, the expulsion of unburned fumes and gas is minimized. An acceleration responsive circuit is also included. This circuit is actuated when an acceleration above a predetermined rate is reached to prevent an attempt at accelerating the vehicle at a rate beyond its capabilities.
