摘要： An electromagnetic stamping apparatus includes a work platform configured to load a work piece. A stamping component is coupled to the work platform and has a first position and a second position. The stamping component includes a stamping rod and a stamping head. The stamping head stamps the work piece on the first position. An electromagnetic device is coupled to the stamping rod and generates a magnetic force according to an alternating current to push the stamping component to the first position to make the stamping component stamp the work piece. A compression spring pushes the stamping component to the second position according to the restoring force of the compression spring. Wherein, the magnetic force is greater than the restoring force of the compression spring to make the stamping component stamp the work piece twice in every waveform period of the alternating current.

摘要： A pipe assembly includes an inner pipe member and an outer pipe member that is externally fixed to an end portion of the inner pipe member. The inner pipe has a thickness that is less than that of the outer pipe which is placed outside the end portion of the inner pipe member. An additional fixture member is placed outside the portion where the inner and outer pipes are fitted to each other. While the inner pipe, the outer pipe, and the additional fixture are in this state, an electromagnetic coil is placed inside the inner pipe at a position where the outer pipe and the additional fixture are to be fixed. The diameter of the inner pipe increases by applying a pulse current to the electromagnetic coil. The diameter of the outer pipe increases by the action of force applied when the diameter of the inner pipe is increased.

In some aspects, the forming mold includes a multi-segment mold disposed about an electromagnetic coil. The multi-segment mold having a plurality of circumferential segments, a bottom mold section and an annular ring. Each of the circumferential segments including an inner surface wherein the plurality of inner surfaces defines a desired shape of the formed containers. The bottom mold section being adapted to hold and move the pre-form articles about an electromagnetic coil and into and out of the forming mold. The annular ring being adapted to hold, seal and optionally shape a top section of the pre-form articles so as to reduce or eliminate parting lines on the surface of the formed containers.

摘要： A method is disclosed for pressure forming a metal preform including shock annealing of the preform and subsequently preheating the preform prior to pressure forming. Shock annealing may be carried out as differential shock annealing in which different regions of the preform are annealed to different degrees. Preheating may be carried out by differentially preheating, optionally shock preheating, different regions of the preform for preheating at least those regions of the preform which will be subject to elevated expansion during pressure forming. Shock annealing by induction heating can lower energy consumption, reduce processing times and allow for larger expansion of the preform.

In some aspects, the system includes a plurality of forming modules movably mounted relative to an infeed mechanism.
