    • Provided is a pulley structure of a belt type electric power steering (EPS) gear, and more particularly, a pulley structure of a belt type EPS gear capable of providing good assemblability using an engineering plastic and a specific structure. The pulley structure of the belt type EPS gear includes an insert ring section coupled to a ball nut, a support section configured to support the insert ring section, a first flange section configured to prevent separation of a belt, a pulley having a driving section configured to receive a driving force of the belt, a support frame disposed at one side surface of the driving section and having a bent shape to have an internal space when coupled to the ball nut, and a second flange section disposed at one side surface of the support frame and configured to prevent separation of the belt.

    • A belt pulley (1) for a belt drive and a plastic injection molding method for producing the belt pulley are provided. The belt pulley (1) includes an anti-friction bearing (2) and a running ring (3) which surrounds the bearing outer ring (7). An end side of the running ring has a multiplicity of molding points (13) which run on the sector radii (R) of circular sectors which have a common center point on the rotational axis (15) of the belt pulley and at least two center point angles (α) of different size. Part of the circular sectors are to have sector radii, on which the molding points have cross sections of different size. Here, the center point angle of the adjacent circular sector on the side of the larger molding cross section is larger than the center point angle of the adjacent circular sector on the side of the smaller molding cross section.

    • An insert moldable cap retainer for securing a bearing cap to a pulley assembly is disclosed. The cap retainer includes a hollow neck configured to receive a bearing cap, a plate that extends outward from the neck with the neck protruding upward from the plate, and a continuous or discontinuous flange extending downward from the outer periphery of the plate. The plate is configured to be juxtaposed with an upper surface of an outer race of a bearing and the flange is configured to be juxtaposed with an outer surface of the outer race of the bearing when the cap retainer is positioned on the bearing. The cap retainer and bearing are insert moldable together to have an integral pulley body connected thereto. A pulley assembly is also disclosed that includes the insert moldable cap retainer.

    • A continuous flexible track for extending about a plurality of aligned wheels on a vehicle or track module, the track includes an outer ground-engaging surface and an inner wheel-engaging surface having inwardly-projecting wheel-engaging lugs. Each lug has a proximal end, a distal surface, front and back surfaces and opposite side surfaces. Each lug further includes a flex-groove extending between the side surfaces and from the distal surface toward the proximal end, thereby dividing the lug into two portions to allow around-wheel hinging motion. In most preferred embodiments, a lug-receiving cap may be positioned over and replaceably secured with respect to each lug. A method for prolonging the useful life of such a track is provided.
