摘要： An initiator is presented for anionically polymerizing monomers, to provide a functional head group on the polymer. A polymer having a functional head group derived from a sulfur containing anionic initiator, and optionally as additional functional group resulting from the use of a functional terminating reagent, coupling agent or linking agent is also provided. A method is presented for anionically polymerizing monomers comprising the step of polymerizing the monomers with a sulfur containing anionic initiator to provide a functional head group on the polymer. An elastomeric compound, comprising a functional polymer and filler is also described. Also provided is a tire having decreased rolling resistance resulting from a tire component containing a vulcanizable elastomeric compound.

摘要： The present invention relates to a preparation method of aromatic organosulfur functionalized 1,4-cis polybutadiene comprising: polymerizing 1,3-butadiene or butadiene derivative in the presence of a specific catalyst in a nonpolar solvent to prepare 1,4-cis polybutadiene; and reacting the resultant polybutadiene with an aromatic organosulfur compound. Such prepared aromatic organosulfur functionalized 1,4-cis polybutadiene is without ultrahigh molecular weight region and, thus, has narrow molecular weight distribution.

The NBR may be a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene and may be present in the insulation composition in a range of from approximately 45% by weight to approximately 56% by weight of a total weight of the insulation composition. The PBO fibers may be present in a range of from approximately 3% by weight to approximately 10% by weight of a total weight of the insulation composition. A rocket motor including the insulation composition and a method of insulating a rocket motor are also disclosed.

摘要： Disclosed are a method for producing a modified conjugated diene polymer improved in quality stability, more enhanced in low heat buildup and reinforcing ability when used in a rubber composition, excellent in wear resistance, mechanical characteristics and processability, and improved in cold flow; and a rubber composition using the same. The method includes a step of modifying an active end of an active end-containing conjugated diene polymer having a cis-1,4-bond content of 75% or more with an alkoxysilane compound containing at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of (a) an epoxy group, (b) an isocyanate group and (c) a carboxyl group, and a step of adding a condensation accelerator to conduct condensation reaction of the alkoxysilane compound (residue) in an aqueous solution having a pH of 9 to 14 and a temperature of 85 to 180° C.

摘要： This invention relates to a process for preparing styrene-butadiene rubber or butadiene rubber with both ends of the polymer chain modified by solution polymerization, wherein styrene-butadiene rubber or butadiene rubber is polymerized using a monofunctional anionic polymerization initiator modified with amines or the like, and then the active anion at the ends of the polymer chain is reacted with the commonly available modifier. Unlike a bifunctional initiator that shows a poor solubility in a nonpolar solvent, an increase in viscosity and loss of modification efficiency induced by impurity, styrene-butadiene rubber or butadiene rubber by solution polymerization can be prepared using the modified anionic polymerization initiator of the invention.
