    • A pair of left and right slide pins 10 and 20 are disposed at the rear side of the lid 1 movably in the lateral direction.     • The specification discloses a preferred embodiment of a door assembly, which is adapted to engage and disengage a door from a wall aperture. The door assembly has at least one faceplate attachable to a door. The faceplate has a mount substantially transverse from the faceplate. The door assembly has a door handle attached to the mount. At least one faceplate cap is attached to the faceplate. The faceplate cap has a vertical portion substantially parallel with the mount. The faceplate cap further has a substantially horizontal portion wherein the door handle and the horizontal portion of the faceplate cap defines a substantially flat surface substantially perpendicular to the mount. The specification further discloses certain embodiments of the door handle assembly having a bolt. The bolt may be movable from a first position where at least a portion of the bolt is inside the wall aperture thereby engaging the door into the wall aperture to a second position where the portion of the bolt is outside the wall aperture thereby disengaging the door from the wall aperture. The bolt may be movable from the first position to the second position by an actuator connected to the door handle and to the bolt. The bolt may be locked in the first position by a cam assembly disposed perpendicular to the bolt.

    • A locking apparatus of a game machine has the following components: a locking bar provided with a plurality of first engaging portions; engaging members having second engaging portions engageable with the first engaging portions; and a locking bar actuating member for actuating the locking bar from an engaging position where the first engaging portions engage with the second engaging portions to a disengaged position where the first engaging portions are out of engagement with the second engaging portions. A locking device performs, in accordance with operation of a key, a change-over between an unlocked state which permits the actuation of the locking bar into a disengaged position by the locking bar actuating member and a locked state which prohibits the actuation of the locking bar into the disengaged position by the locking bar actuating member. The locking bar is disposed on the main part, while the engaging members, locking bar actuating member and the locking device are disposed on the door hinged to the main part. This arrangement serves to reduce the size of the installation space to be preserved in the main part, while avoiding increase of the weight of the door assembly.

    • A mechanism for locking a cover to a housing of medium and high speed laboratory centrifuges. The locking mechanism includes an axially moveable locking member which has at least one locking portion adapted to be moved in locking engagement with a locking hole of the cover. The axially moveable locking member is rotatably mounted in the housing and connected with a rotary drive. An advancing mechanism transforms the rotary movement of the locking member into an advancing movement thereof. Preferably said advancing mechanism includes a threaded portion provided on the locking member and in engagement with a projection provided on the housing. The locking member has a portion of reduced cross section which may pass through a slot into the locking hole when the cover is moved to its closed position.
