摘要： A shell catcher for semi-automatic auto-loading shotguns which will catch the ejected shell if singly loaded and the last shell from the magazine if multiple loads are used. A mounting plate is attached to the trigger retaining pins on the shotgun receiver. A shell restraint blade is pivotally attached to the mounting plate and is urged to an operative position by a spring in which the blade projects slightly into the ejection port for catching the ferrule of an ejected shell. An inoperative position is defined in which the blade is retracted from the port and shells can be completely ejected. A locking arm senses when a shell is in the magazine causing the blade to be locked in the non-operative position and releases the blade when the magazine is empty. A pawl on the bolt handle is utilized to move the blade from the operative position to the inoperative position.

摘要： A receiver for spent sheels is disclosed wherein a rigid compartment is formed and includes a mounting means for mounting one end of the compartment adjacent to the shell ejection slot of a gun, and for supporting the rigid compartment away from the body of the hand gun so as not to interfere with the operation of the hand gun. Since the opening in the compartment is disposed in register with the ejection slot of the gun, the ejected shells enter the compartment. A trap door is disposed within the compartment near the opening so that spent shells do not jump out of the compartment, for example, as when the gun recoils or when it is laid down. For use on a pistol the mounting means consists of opposing rigid panels or flaps which are disposed on each side of the pistol grip. The panel near the compartment is affixed to the underside thereof, while the other panel is formed to extend up over the pistol and to be fixed to the upper side of the compartment. For use in a rifle, the mounting means consists of a relatively flexible sheet wrapped around the rifle and has means for attaching the opening of the compartment to the sheet so that it can register with the shell ejection slot of the rifle.

摘要： The ACC combines an automated vehicle to tow a collection device. The vehicle has unique attachment and sensing capabilities which allow for the device to be automated. The configuration of the processor and motor drivers and battery and weight distribution are what make the vehicle capable of towing the device. The attachment via custom tow hitch and specific torque allow for the effective collection of material. Various treads may be required to suit different terrains.
The processor is situated in the front where it can be accessed to upload a program. The processor is housed in a plastic case which provides some protection for the components and a means to affix it to the vehicle. Additionally, a cosmetic cover provides additional protection and prevents debris from interfering with the movement. The battery is located as low as possible. There is a welded steel structure. The processor uses lower voltage than the motors which requires a motor driver board which is effective a relay switch. The relay switch is activated by a low voltage signal wire which then closes a circuit to the motors providing greater voltage to the motors than the rest of the components. The ultrasonic sensors are located on the front center of the vehicle.
