摘要： The process of this invention represents an improved, low-energy method for recovering a purified ethylene product from the effluent of an autothermal cracking reactor. The process consists of a cracked gas chilling train, a front-end ethylene distributor, a demethanizer, and a C2 splitter. Hydrocarbons heavier than ethylene, including ethane, propylene, and propane are recycled in a single stream to the ATC reactor. Acetylene removal from the ethylene product can be accomplished either through a front-end hydrogenation unit or an acetylene extraction unit. This invention is particularly useful when the fresh hydrocarbon feed to the autothermal cracking reactor is ethane or a mixture of ethane and propane.

The inventive method also consists in regenerating the bed of adsorbents by passing a regeneration gas comprising at least one non-zero proportion of the formed H2 flow and in recycling at least the purge and flash gases for feeding the synthesis gas generation stage.

摘要： Processes, methods, systems and devices for zero emission liquid hydrogen production directly from a variety of methane sources, such as natural gas and landfill gas, are disclosed. Five embodiments of plant designs for liquid hydrogen production are presented. The embodiments combine hydrogen production and liquefaction into a single process to produce liquid hydrogen directly via methane containing gases; thus, eliminating the conventional technology of pressure swing adsorption process for gas mixture separation. The innovative process can be applied to produce high purity liquid hydrogen with no carbon dioxide emission to the atmosphere; and can also co-produce highly pure solid carbon and liquid carbon dioxide as by-products for industrial application. The invention has provided advantages over conventional approaches that result in up to approximately 85% of first low efficiencies and approximately 56% of second law efficiency, up to approximately 100% of hydrogen and methane recovery, and a very high purity of liquid hydrogen (99.9999%).
