    • The control device of an internal combustion engine of the present invention is a control device of an internal combustion engine in which a bypass channel (25) for bypassing a throttle valve (6) of an engine intake system (5) via an evaporated fuel adsorption device is provided as a fuel emission path to an evaporated fuel adsorption device (22) for adsorbing evaporated fuel in a fuel tank (19), and exhaust gas recirculation is implemented for recirculating exhaust gas via an exhaust gas recirculation passage (17) connected upstream of the entrance of the bypass channel of the engine intake system.     • A fuel vapor control device has a flow control valve which regulates a flow amount of fuel vapor from a fuel tank to a canister. The flow control valve has a movable element accommodated in a case. The movable valve element has a central cylindrical part, an outer cylindrical part, and a disc part which connects the central cylindrical part and the outer cylindrical part. The central cylindrical part provides a central channel. The central channel provides a main channel which communicates an inlet and an outlet. A sub channel defined and formed between the movable element and the case is opened and closed by a valve formed by the case and the outer cylindrical part. The central channel makes easy setting of flow amount in regulated condition. Since turbulence is reduced, it is possible to perform stable regulation.

    • A valve assembly used as part of a vapor purge system, which uses a vacuum created by a venturi nozzle to direct purge vapor from a canister through the purge system, and into an intake manifold. The valve assembly includes a check valve which closes the flow path to prevent the uncontrolled venting of hydrocarbon rich purge vapor directly to the atmosphere, and provides an on-board diagnostic (OBD) check to make sure the system is functioning properly. The check valve is typically open because of a pressure balance around the check valve, allowing the turbo bleed flow, as well as the purge vapor, to pass through the check valve and into an air box. If the hose is disconnected, there is a pressure drop across the valve, which causes the check valve to close, preventing the release of hydrocarbons in the purge vapor to the atmosphere.
