    • An fabrication system used for mounting a structural member to a surface including an anchor attached to the surface. The anchor has a pair of sidewalls extending substantially perpendicular therefrom and forming an anchor channel with one or more first flanges formed on at least one of the sidewalls facing the anchor channel. The fabrication system also includes a panel frame having a body for insertion into the anchor channel. The body has at least one lateral surface extending substantially perpendicularly therefrom. First and second sidewalls extend from the body to define a frame channel for receiving an edge portion of the structural member.     • Panels (20A, 20B) are attached to extrusions (66A, 66B) by fasteners 90. Clips (70) are attached to a structure (50) by fasteners (35). The extrusions and the clips engage in a manner which allows the panels to move in any direction, as needed, without the panel detaching from the structure and falling. The extrusions also provide for the use of optional reveal strips (87). An extrusion has a restraining area (86), a reveal strip stop area (58), and a T-slot (65). A clip has a T-channel (74), a tensioning stop arm (69), and a secondary reinforcing arm (80). The panels can be installed in rows, in columns, or diagonally, as desired.

    • An apparatus for securing members to a surface. The apparatus includes a mounting clamp, a mounting adaptor, a panel support member and a fastener. The panel support member and the mounting adaptor are slidably interconnected to one another. The mounting adaptor is fixedly interconnected to the mounting clamps using the fastener. The mounting adaptor may also include an area of reduced strength to permit the controlled failure of the apparatus in response to excess loading. The panel support member may be adapted to receive a panel. When installed on a surface, the apparatus obscures the view of mounting devices or equipment that may also be secured to the surface.

    • A system for mounting a series of decorative panels onto the outer surface of a building includes four basic elements, a baseplate, a cover plate and two panel edge brackets. The baseplate has a generally centrally-disposed wall portion securable to the outer surface of a building and the cover plate is mountable on the baseplate to cover the centrally-disposed portion. The cover plate has an outer surface which defines a base wall of a caulkless joint. Each of the panel edge brackets has a panel wall securable to an edge of a decorative panel. Male-female locking elements are associated with the base and cover plates for clamping the panel edge brackets to either the baseplate or the cover plate so that the panel walls of the panel edge brackets are generally normally disposed to, and abut, the outer surface of the cover plate. As a result, the panel walls define the joint sidewalls of the caulkless joint.

    • A wall tie connector for binding a masonry or glass `veneer` wall to a support frame, having an attachment plate by which it may be fixed to such a support frame, and a twisted tie plate which is closely coupled to a rod passing through an aperture at one end of the tie plate so that the tie plate can slide from side to side along the rod.     • A system for attaching furring adjacent a column includes a corner clip (140, 142) having a first leg (160) for attachment adjacent a column and a second leg (162) extending from the first leg. The second leg (162) extends substantially longitudinally of the column. The clip may be attached directly to the column or to the ceiling or decking adjacent the column. One end of a corner angle (150) is engaged over the second leg of the clip. The opposite end of the corner angle is engaged over the corresponding leg of a similar clip. The corner angle is then plumbed by moving the second end of the angle and clip, and the clip is attached to the decking or ceiling to maintain the angle plumb. Furring (G) is attached to the corner angle to cover the column.
